Guys, PES2014 digital premium edition is available in PSN for $31. where as the game is sold at $65 in shops. I would like to how why is this difference? does this digital premium edition different to the game sold in shops? What are the drawbacks in purchasing this PSN edition of pes2014? Please clarify.

Drawbacks of purchasing the PSN edition would be the large download size, you can't trade the game in when you've done with it, and you obviously can't just bring the game over to a friend's house.

Gameplay wise, there should be no difference.

Strange... usually games are more expensive on the PS store, at least in the UK one they are.

Definitley cheaper from the store RRP here is $99.95, cheapest price in retail store $84.95, but $69.95 form PSN. Exactly the same game with the bonus of extra kits/avatars.

As Ali said the only drawback is you have to download over 7GB & you can't trade it in ;)

Online pass is supposed to be free if you purchase it via the PS Store. I bought it for 1900 Indian Rupees and I got 3rd kit dlc,7-8 PSN avatars and Online pass free with the digital premium edition.

well since the game is esentially incomplete with many missing features, lack of stadiums and gameplay bugs its only fitting the price it low. Good move by Konami!

Does anybody has found any other features missing on digital version?

Someone asked in the Facebook PES page about the commentary and PES replied that the new commentary (Argentinean and Chilean) was not included in the digital version. So maybe there are more features missing.

I heard GTAV People are having issues with digital copy of the game (slow rendering and so forth) have anyone with a digital copy having problems like this?
With the retail version when you have an option file, it is taking seconds just load the logos, what happens when both the OF logos and game data are on the hard drive for the digital copy. does the speed to load logo improves since all logo(original and OF) are on the same drive?

no, mines on my hard drive and I can sometimes wait up to 10 seconds for a logo or face, sometimes I don't even know what kit I'm wearing when I start a game

I don't think what you said can be a problem ^ if offline is working smooth then your game is ok.If online is slowing down then its konamis error.

Digital copy or not makes no difference, anyone that used a OF for PES 2013 would have noticed it took a few seconds to load the kits of unlicensed teams. On PES 2014 it is the same the only difference is it now effects logos as well as they are now saved as individual files instead of part of the main editdata, plus kits take longer as they are now larger files ;)

Anybody downloaded it from the PSN store, can you let me know if you got an online pass included with the download or do you have to buy that as an add-on?
