I just found out about the british patch for ps2...just downloaded it...sounds good...i am gonna patch and burn soon...you can download it at http://www.britishevolution.com/BritishPremierPatch(PS2DVD)/

Contents are the same as the PC version of this patch.

pes fan option file and wolf's option file does not work well with this patch...have to play it without option file...like names of team and stadium are not rite...
does anyone know a good option file to use with it?

downloaded the patch and attached it to my image of pes 4, banged it on my hd advance and the screen just stays blank after the intro pages eg. konami screen.

please help !!!!!!

press the cross botton

when the screen just shows konami ，press the “cross” botton continuous before it get into black.

or delete the sys file of the mc，before the ps2 get into hdl.

since it works，has anybody other good ideas？

the sys file of the mc ??? wat does that require ive tried hammering x when that konami screens on but it just wont have it

coz im not convinced that british patch is 100% right coz as i say i had it working once and now it just stays black after the konami screens

Well I don't know but I think most people here are only familiar with patching to disc as opposed to hard drive. I didn't even know it was possible to be honest.

so sorry for my expression, English is not my mother language,i can not speak well.

Since i can play the game ,i tryed several ways.then it works .

if you can play the game without the memory card,you can try it as i have sayed.

you can also try to press the convelse botton continual,it really works after several second on my ps2 ( hdl ).

i have also edited all the teams` name,i don`t know how to upload it .

anyone needs the option save, pm me ,and i can sent it to you with e-mail.

(the option save also include 99999 we-shop,i do some edit ,but so many twins players ,i will send a better one later.)

i had it on the other day and i had my memory card in and all the names were wrong

its just funny

i find u just have 2 dig dip wen it hits the konami screen

just hammer every button

ive got a knack for it at the mo

got it on first time

This patch is really good and it works first time everytime for me intro and eveything,the only problem is that all the team names are wrong so how the F*@k are you supposed to know what they are,some people on this thread are going on about taking your memory card out,but i have no saved data on it !

Looks to me like there is supposed to be an option file bundled with this patch and they forgot to put it in !

if anyone has the option file for this patch please give us the link.

And for all those having problems patching it check all the files you've downloaded with the par2 file.use QUICKPAR to check them(if there's any incomplete you will have to download them again),Make a clean IMAGE(unpatched) of the DVD game with DVDdecrypter,patch it with PATCH'o'MATIC 3.0 then burn it with DVDdecrypter as slow as you can (i burned it at 8 speed and still had no problems).

All the tools i used are FREEWARE so you can get em for nothing on the net !

There is always data on your option file. If you think you have nothing on it, then you have the default option file which makes all teams have fake names.
Just play with no mem card and see if anything happens to the names.

Tried it mate and they are still up the wall, its a pitty though coz its a good patch other than that !

And as for the option file i found this in the archives:

there is a database update on evo-web
it wasnt on the site you sent me
the patch is rather good..
