[PES4] British Patch - 92 English Clubs + Champions League Teams

I am in the process of getting these files into the Xbox version. It's really easy to extract the team kits which are shit hot by the way Biker_Jim_UK. I was only after the Brighton and Hove kit but after I figured out the simple proccess of that DKZ program, skies the limit.

The Xbox almost works on a PC file system so once I have it up and running (Most likely tomorrow) I will post again. The only stumbling block I might come up against is the option file and by the sounds of it the sound patch is causing people a lot of problems so I wont bother with that.

does anyone have the 2d kits from this patch but better versions cos the 2d kits in this patch are (sorry) rubbish, i want them like the original 2d kits so if anyone has them or know where i can get them from could u plz let me know thx

.second: the patch doesn't update the adboards for me. anyway i try to install some new adboards found around the net, but i can't install it correctly. i found some trouble with AFS explorer. if somebody are interest in helping me i'm grateful and i'll explain him my difficulty.

Instead of using AFS Explorer try using "Graphic Studio" you should be able to apply your new ad-boards straight over the top of the original ones. Try this http://pes4.edgegaming.com/editadboards.html

The reason there is no premier league badges on kits is because they have not been added to the kit.bmp in photoshop or whatever paint program was used to create them. Considering the size of the overall .bmp files I dont think that a badge that small would show up on the kits too well during gameplay.

ok...i solve da adboards trouble re-installing game and patch!!!

i think too the logo isn't so necessary during the gameplay, but just a detail. but would be a nice detail...

WOAAAAAW! sounds amazing for me!!! that would be really great if you could make a patch working for the Xbox! can you include all the stadiums? or have I got you wrong?

I'm hoping that I can get all updates into the xbox version. The only thing that is going to be a bit shit is not including the sound patch, might have Bradford being commentated as Real Madrid.

Who knows, I might have ago at that as well.

No luck for Xbox users, I'm not suprised it didn't work.

I managed to get all the files patched and the game loads, sounds fine, demo match plays but the kits are transparent and the game hangs if you try to interact in anyway.

Looks like the best you can do is extract some of the kits and insert them via Graphic Studio. Worth a try!!

And having just installed it myself, I can tell you it's a pretty awesome patch.

I have judt downloaded the patch and have no idea what to do next, I am new to this patching thing and need help. No readme files or anything.

There is a readme with the patched, although it's called 'britishpatch.rtf'.

I'll quote from it..

"How to apply the patch -

1. If you haven’t already patched PES4 to v1.10 then download the update from here, you don’t need to do this but the database and team names will only work with v1.10, if you don’t want to patch to v1.10 then you can use the included option file for correct names

2. Run DKZ studio, click LOAD and select britishpatch.dkz, click apply patch and select 0_text.afs in your install directory (default is C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 4\dat\) DKZ studio will automatically apply the patch


3. Start ppf-o-matic3, click the load cd image button, change types of files to ALL FILES and select 0_sound.afs, click the patch button and select 0_sound.ppf which is included with the patch, click apply, once it’s done a box will pop up saying PATCH SUCCESSFULLY APPLIED, click ok then do the same again but this time select e_sound.afs and e_sound.ppf


4. If you have patch 1.10 installed then copy PES4.EXE to C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 4\ overwriting the exiting .exe file, copy para_w8.bin and pd_data_license.bin to C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 4\dat\patch1_10 overwriting the original files

You will need to delete your existing option file as well

If you want to use the included option file then copy it to C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 4\save\folder1\ and overwrite your existing option file"

I've just installed this patch there, and I'm quite dissappointed.

I'm not sure if this is always in the patch or if I've did something wrong, but my team names outside the English clubs are crap. Motherwell are still called Real Madrid etc.? And all players for Scottish Teams (Outside Rangers and Celtic) have no likeness whatsoever and all that's been changed are their names. For example, Colin Samuel is a black player with dreadlocks, and in the game he's white with short brown hair.

If this is just me, then could someone tell me what I've did wrong? If this is what it's always like, that's really poor.

Probably something to do with the Option File you are using.

I just copied the provided option file over the top of the one in my sav/folder1 folder and still the same. Really stuck here.

Just make sure you have completed everything it explains in the readme, otherwise I am not sure.
