Don't you think they would if it was possible? They are not a bunch of sadists who try to figure out the hardest way to apply a patch. We all love ppf patches but you need to modify file sizes to make the new patches work. Thank nokami for making it more difficult to patch the game.

If you are able to make ppf patches for PES5, then be our guest.

this patch are ..s.h_t of junk..can't mae it to works also by the way...in's not clear how buid the iso..prefer the Nest much more better...

cause you cant get it to work doesnt mean its crap. follow the istructions on patching it, the only case you could have problems is if your not using a retail version of the game to patch to, in which case the instructions wont work as there is a different file in the copy which has been floating round the internet for a while.

If you aren't capable to rebuild the iso then burn all the files with nero as an UDF/ISO. I had the same problem with the AUDIO.IRX. But all these things are explained in the guide included with the patch!

ok, realised what i was doin wrong, i was usin dvd decrypter to copy the original image from the game dvd to my pc. however didn't realise he meant jus click explore on the game when its in ur pc and simply select all the files and then jus do a cut and paste into ur newly created pes5 folder. after that i jus followed all the steps in the guide (even got the 3 errors sayin descriptors were missin) as long as u follow the guide u should have no problem. jus cut and paste the iml and ims files from part 7 of the patch use the same programs he used and everythin should be fine.

pretty good patch too, altho doesn't have the club names,etc. corrected but still good patch

well at l last can make it to works...but the anounce to tell us about this patch is for "RETAIL VERSION" are after i spent 5-6 DVD-R on the beta with this patch..no it's not works for beta..then i tried with retail as mention...it's great patch and by the way a problem on the kits when i want to select my home or away kits for chelsea...there no photo and all the 2 kits are gone...didn't try with the other team yet if it got the same problem?

dunno, i heard there were simillar problems when people played the game with italian language, are you useing a language other than english? if so it may be a conflict with the patch and that language. i have no idea why this may be the case but im sure i saw someone say it on another forum. i could be wrong.

when i try and decompress the patch after downloading the torrent it says it is corrupt. im no computer genius so any ideas?

Try to unrar it again, if it doesn't work then the download was corrupt and you'll have to get it again from the start. delete your current file.

Absolutely essential patch, changes the experience of playing PES5, the ad boards, the chants make me actually play with the commentary on, terrific atmosphere and the kits are off the planet! Also using it with the OF makes the game complete, most definitive version of the game to date, and trust me i have had a few.... I am sure a few faces were done too....

Can someone please expain how i can create my own iml and ims files, as i have the "confusion" version of pes5?
I downloaded cd/dvd gen. Then what?
