PES5 on xbox 360 at 720p!?

I haven't got access to the internet!!

I cant believe Microsoft - I bought 360 with a hardrive with the understanding that the hardrive would already have the emulator software already installed on it which meant that you could play xbox games straight out of the box ..........they lied!!!!

So I have 10 xbox games sitting on my shelf collecting dust - especially Pro Evo 5.

I will have to wait another year until Pro Evo is released on the 360 to be able to play a decent footie game - I cant believe it, its going to be a long 12 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe you haven't got accesss to the internet!!!

Maybe if you take your xbox 360 to one of your friends who's got access to the internet and download the emulator!?

No need to take your Xbox 360 anywhere

1. You can go to a friends and download + burn this file onto a CD and then insert it into your 360..it will automatically detect it and update your box...then you can play

PS: the emulator is in the hardrive out of the box. It is the specific files for each game that you need to install once they become available..to be able to activate the emulator and recognize your game

ok the reason why you are seeing what you are seeing is because you are limiting yourself to 720p which means progressive scan. If you have an HDTV already setup then im assuming it is either LCD or plasma, now in the back you should have a VGA connector (similar to what you have on your monitor that connects to your graphics card) Now if you read up you can infact buy a cable for that VGA socket which will allow you to play the game in what is known as 1080i (interlaced) this gets rid of the annoying bars and shows the game with a bit more graphical enhancement. AND OMG DID THAT Fifa RTWC suck or what!! obnoxcios EA shafting us with a normal console game and throwing in some close ups that well dont really look like any of the players at all.

Anyway hope that helps but do be aware you will need the HD VGA adapter for Xbox 360 which retails about 20 quid.

Help out an American. PES5 is Winning Eleven 8 here in the states? Will that work also with the emulator? My understanding is when you activate your xbox live account. It will download all backward compatible games into your hard drive. Well WE8I still does not work. Any help making this work and I'll name my next child after you. Thanks. I did buy fifa rttwc and it does suck.... Go cold turkey before buying that game..

yea i've got a 360 and i got a hdtv and my 360 says pro 5 isn't compatiable with it i just wanted to brag realli i'm a lucky guy who found a lorry open hahahaha

No PES5 is Winning Eleven 9 International in the states which is due to be released in february 06, WE8i is not compatible

Konami mentioned that PE5 which is WE9 here in the states and due out in Feb will be compatible with the 360.

I bought a 360 but the winning eleven 8 (PE4) was not compatible and not there is no download software to emulate this version.


Took my 360 back, thats another story,

Anyone know a way to get this game to show in widescreen? Or is it next to impossible? I just bought the game and am planning to host a tournament next weekend; if I could get it to show in widescreen, and still kick out a fairly decent quality image then that would be ACE.
