IT'S WORKING! JIPPIEEEEEEE A JEEEEEEEEEEEEEH

main problem was that I copied my isofile to another folder. So the MDS file pointed to the wrong file (the iso file which wasnt patched).
So when I selected in DVD Decrypter the MDS file it was pointed to the wrong iso.
I burned it by selecting in DVD Decrypter the correct MDS file and burned it on 4 speed.

Patch is very nice.
Minor points (if I may be so honest):
- quality of pixels (screen)
- no banners in the stadiums (like at the dutch squad 'biertje' and 'hup holland hup'

But: it is still great.
Thanks to everyone but alone a pity the makers of this file declares you stupid when you arent managing to get it right.

Cheers,
Leon

ok..here is the guide. First: make sure all the files are names the same as mentioned below. And make sure your iso file and MDS file (which your just created with dvd decrypter) are not copied or whatever. Just use the exact file you created.

1) open the first file (TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PS2_PPF[1].part1) by using WINRAR. Press 'Extract'.

2) after some seconds of extracting the file asks for TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PS2_PPF[1].part2.
Select the file by using the browse button and press OK.

3) This process continues for TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PS2_PPF[1].part3, TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PS2_PPF[1].part4, TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PS2_PPF[1].part5

If this won't happen then you can put all the 5 different files in different folder so that WINRAR can't find them and will ask for it for sure

4) extract by using WINRAR the fix patch. (TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PS2_FIX)

5) open PPF-o-Matic and select the ISO (and not the MDS) file.
Select the first ppf file you just created (TEAM_PES-X_PPF_1.ppf which is in folder TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PS2_PPF - TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PS2_PPF - PPF_PATCH - PPF1

6) click on apply and wait (will take some time) and clikc OK after completion.

7) Select again the ISO (and not the MDS) file. This iso now also have ppffile 1 because you just patched it!
Select the second ppf file you just created (TEAM_PES-X_PPF_2.ppf which is in folder TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PS2_PPF - TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PS2_PPF - PPF_PATCH - PPF2

8) click on apply and wait (will take some time) and clikc OK after completion.

9) do the same for the FIX patch

10) now the iso is ready to burn with dvd decrypter. Select the MDS file (maybe the ISO will work as well but i didn't tried that) and burn it at the lowest speed which is mentioned in the right screen of DVD decrypter under "supported write speeds'

After this guide it should be working
Good luck!

Leon

p.s, for creating the option file (which can be found in TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PS2_PPF[1]- TEAM_PES-X_GERMANY_PES5_PS2_PPF - OF - BIN CUE) please see post 24

Different file size

Hi there,

First post ...

I have downloaded all the files but they are very small in size?!

for example:

the part 1 file is only 2,03MB while it took me almost 2 hours to download?

Has any1 got the same problem?

ps- leon kan je geen kopietje voor me maken?

filesize is indeed to small...see pots 1 for sizes

p.s. probeer het eerst maar net als ieder ander, daarna is een kopie een optie..

Many thanks for the patch, it installs fine and works great.

Here are what the file sizes for the downloaded rar files should be:

[click on image to see full size]

If you have problems or no clue what is going on, go and read the guide to patching PES4 and the important threads in the Editing Index Thread. All you need to do is unrar the rar files (as shown in the guide to using WinRAR thread) and then apply them; 1 then 2 then the fix.

Or you can check this section for more guides.
Easy.

(When applied to the retail version for me)

Opinions: The power bar and the pause menu do not look nice as the power bar looks a bit tacky and the pause menu is way too dark. The old trafford pitch seems to shimmer and the nets are barely visible.

Could be a number of things. Best thing to do is to delete your image and rip a new one from your original and then apply the 3 patches in the right order. Should work then.

As usual, always remember to have no other programs running when burning. I always defrag my hard disk and reset before I burn an image.
