I have installed all of the different parts and the patch works like a treat :D one thing though, what option file do i use, as there were like 5 different option files included in the parts?

hmm there is one transfer missing..
H.ghaly to Tottenham from somewhere in holland i think ... but i am sure that he trasferd to tottenham

When i patch all the files in the iso, and burn it to dvd - ITS NOT WORKING!!! Here is list of the files on patched iso:

0_text.AFS;1 folder - it's a empty folder, and it doesn't want to open
IOP folder

Please help me!!! o can't do it, when i patched just ppf1 and ppf2, and ppf fix, in iso file remains boot.asf and 0_text.asf. Please can you help me somehow!!??

ovo ti je patch za ps2. i kad napraviš iso file samo "pečiraš" iso s ppf file-ovima i spržiš dvd s nero-m.

P.S. sorry mates, it was easier to explain on croatian.

Znam da je za ps2, al kad ja pečiram to na iso, tj. ppf1, ppf2 i fix, i na kraju spržim taj iso file, jednostavno mi ne radi. Kad stavim taj dvd u optički pogon, otvorim ga i na dvd-u fali boot.asf!!! Neznam više kaj da radim s tim... :(

It depends what you mean by "copy of PES5".

Did you mean; what's the difference between the Beta version and the Retail version?

Because the difference between the Beta and Retail versions is the online play capability. The Retail version has it but the Beta doesn't.

i simply can't patch the iso... some weird files are created... i don't know...

i was thinking about original game and a copy of that game... what's a difference??? I bak up the iso of original game and burn it to dvd... i don't have the original any more, but when i back up the copy, and start patching... - IT DON'T WANT TO WORK!!!

Please help me somehow... i want play that... :(

If you followed the patching guide correctly and it didn't work, maybe you were trying to patch the beta version of the game?

Hi, I followed the patching tutorial, patched my game, and transferred the patched ISO directly to my PS2 HDD, i was having trouble with discs. I open the game up, and the first little box appears for language, then searching for a memory card option file, then in a blue fade colour, I imagine the work of the patch, the box about 50HZ vs 60HZ comes up, once I choose that the screen just goes black, and the Konami screen does not appear, and I cant play the game. Can anyone help?

I just realised something, I didnt include that i dont have an option file that ive downloaded running, just my regular one, is there one needed to make this patch work? Are they necessary at all to make patches work?

I'm surprised that you haven't already noticed.

I did the same at first, used my own option file and found that there were lots of errors all over the game.

I downloaded the nofx option file, copied it to my memory card and most of the errors I discovered were gone.

Here's what I have and what I've done:

1) I bought a 2nd-hand PS2 (NTSC/J) but chipped to play english games.

2) Purchased ORIGINAL Winning Eleven 9 International (US version).

Please help. I've spent too much time downloading 3 Gigs of patches to fail at this stage.

PS: Since I'm new to PS2 and WE9, what do I do with all the options files that was Un-RARed? Do I need them? If so, Which one do I use? And how do I put these option files into my memory card? Do I copy it to a USB thumbdrive and stick it into the PS2 console?

You my friend are an idiot. :shocking:

You've managed to download 3 Gigabytes worth of a patch that's not even compatible with your game. :eek:hmy:

In case you didn't realise, this patch is for PES5 only. And it only works with the retail version of PES5.

If you really want to patch your WE9, have a look through the WEmerica threads. I'm sure one of those patches will work with WE9.
