Yeah, it's been fixed in the final update.

@nofx

as kits_update is not uploaded yet, do you want that we write some bugs that we find so that you can fix them and then your patch would be perfect. as times goes by, i can find (and probably the others) some small bugs or messed kits... if you find that we can help you, just say, but if you don't we will be happy with your patch as you made it, because we can't do that by ourselves.

p.s. please make new nike croatian national kits (i'm just remind you so that you don't miss it)

cheers

sorry for being a bit of a noob - but would it work if someone would save the option file in max drive format and i could download it

No. Well, you could do that, but the kits would be messed up, and no chants or graphics or music would be changed. So dont do it.

Are you using the option file that comes with the patch? If not, use it!

I have d/l all the patches listed on the first page and patched the iso created with dvddecrypter in order but still cant get this to work.
I am using slim ps2 with swap magic but everytime i try to boot the disc it says not a valid ps2 disc.
Any suggestions will be most appreciated. TIA

Thanks.

I have another problem, when I play the game without the option file Arsenal is called just "Arsenal" which is good, but when I use the option file its called "Arsenal London" and I cant change the name in editor, is there a way to change it so the team is called just "Arsenal" ?

It's an option file error. I can't do anything about it so you'll have to ask nofx about that.

You're definitely doing something wrong.

The PES5 DVD image never goes above or below 2.07 Gb during or after patching.

You might want to post here exactly what steps you took before you got the 10 Gb image.

i have down loaded the following files

filefront_ppf_part1,
filefront_ppf_part2,
filefront_ppf_part3,
filefront_ppf_part4,
filefront_ppf_part5,
filefront_ppf_fix,
filefront_ppf_update_part1
filefront_ppf_update_part2
filefront_ppf_update_fix
filefront_ppf_megaupdate

i have used win rar to extract the folliwing

filefront_ppf_part1,
filefront_ppf_part2,
filefront_ppf_part3,
filefront_ppf_part4,
filefront_ppf_part5,

i use the ppf omatic to patch the first of the two .ppf files and as soon as i do that it jumps from 2.07gb to 9.93 GB

Beginner's mistake.

You have to extract the first 5 parts of the patch as one file.

Highlight all of the 5 first parts, then right click and choose 'Extract files'. After WinRar finishes extracting the RAR files, you should end up with two folders named PPF1 and PPF2 with both folders containing their corresponding PPF file (eg. PPF1.ppf and PPF2.ppf).

Once you have these two PPF files, you can then patch the PES5 DVD image.
