Hey Guys

I'm going to revive the best game of the series for me - PES6 on PC.
Can anyone recommend a great patch to bring the stock game up to date?

Also, I've been having trouble getting either a PS3 dual shock, or a 360 controller working with the game - I'd really appreciate some help getting either controller operational with the game.

Is there still a live PES6 PC scene for online play??

You've made the right decision, friend. PES6 on PC is still the best football gaming experience going today imo.

There's a ton of patches about, and you can patch and update down to the last detail, all the menus/graphics/screens etc. I personally prefer just a good option file, with a modern database. There's a few PES6 files, my favourite of which at the minute is by a guy called CeltaSempre.

Read a few posts in for the most updated version, it's pretty much updated to now.

As for getting the Dualshock to work, visit THIS page, download a suitable version of the program for your computer and install it. Once you've got it working, just create a profile within the 'local' tab of the program and make sure all your buttons are setup properly. Remember to active the controller in your settings program in the PES6 folder.

Thanks very much for the info.
I'm a rank amateur at applying individual patches for individual elements of the game.
Can you recommend an all-in-one patch to help? The Shollym patches seem to come high up on info on PES6.
Or should I do a crash course in upgrading individual elements?

Yeah I've never bothered patching either, seems simple enough and there are patches about. I tend to just update the OF.

I'll try to get my controller issue sorted asap, and then will try to hunt out some patches/OFs and see what I can come up with.

Is there still an online scene with PES6 on PC? I should imagine the online side is non-existent. Secretly wishing it's still alive!

by the way, I found a camera tool for PES6 which helps to zoom the action out further if you're interested.

Definitely running an older version!
Basically once i updated it and lost my settings on my controller.

So once it worked, I tended to leave it be, so as to not do that again.
I'll figure it out!

Hi guys,
Dougie I read your blurb this week and it struck a cord with me. I've been buying pes for years hoping that I'd bring back the spirit of years ago. Kidding myself, and thought sod it, lets bring PES6 back like yourself.

I'm also looking for a decent option file, but a couple of things concern me. I'm reading lots of bits and pieces that the master league freezes after a while, something to do with all the changes. I don't want to get start with my master league and end up with a crash.

Have you guys verified any good option files!?

I'm in exactly the same situation.

Tried running Pes6 months ago with my wired Xbox360 controller, but no luck. I couldn't for the life of me configure the button layout on PC.
When it comes to anything technical in pc gaming I'm shockingly inept :unsure:

Really wanted to try the Shollym patch out :(
