I've had it for two days now and I'm really enjoying it so far. I've noticed some minor tweaks have been changed. For example, when I score a penalty (My very first PES6 goal courtesy of Juninho), he doesn't just stay there and lift his arms up, instead he runs to celebrate. Also, in another penalty, the keeper might actually parry it towards you and you can finally score off a rebound.
When I took of Juninho and replaced him with Diarra, I noticed that Juninho's captain band has been removed already and is NOT with Diarra, like in previous games.
Gameplay is pretty nice, engine running smoothly, it is slower, and I'm liking it. I hope as time goes on, I will still like the gameplay.
The keepers are more sensible now, they pull off some great saves, some were unbelievable. Although they parry it too many times to a striker who just has to tap it in.
High Level is my level apparently. Last night, in the International mode, I was France randomized into a group consisting of N. Ireland, Spain and Italy. N. Ireland first and I managed to scrape with a 1-0 win. Most of the times, the Irish were pushing me, and if it wasn't for Taylor, it could have been atleast 3-0. He was brilliant on the night. And for the first time in a very long time, the opposition managed to have more shots on target than me, I was impressed.
I'm delighted that Ligue 1 is licensed and aswell as France, this is just my type of game. Good to see the Bernabeu too.
The available balls are neat and so are the shoes. Editing mode is not bad at all.
It's just really a shame that Bundesliga is not on the game, the likes of Bremen, Schalke, Stuttgart not on a PES game is a real pity. Otherwise, almost 80% of all other teams are licensed, so that is a good job. Licensed national teams are brilliant, keep em coming Konami.
New faces updated, Ribery, Malouda etc. They have their original faces now.
Overall, I'm happy with the game, this for the PS2 by the way. I hope it's just doesn't wear out on me anytime soon.
