Pretty straight forward - van Persie and Aguero to win.

Is that official?

I'd like it to be an RvP-Chamberlain win (obviously) but can also see it being RvP-Aguero as the winners.

Find it weird how Aguero's been nominated for both of them.

No Newcastle nominations. Of course. How can anyone say Hart's been better than Krul this season?

Though Ba has dropped off a bit since January, Silva has also.

And I'm sick to the back teeth of seeing Parker make these lists.

Well if Manchester are champions and wayne rooney somehow ends up top scorer,he might pip it but that would be unjust.

Van persie deserves it over a season.

I would say Krul, Vorm and Ruddy have all been better than Hart but, obviously, will never make this list.

Antonio Valencia has been sensational when not injured.

Parker's made the shortlist  No way should Hart of made the list neither.
Going off that list
Van Persie and Kun for the youngster.

I doubt Rooney will win POTS for United, so can't see him getting this.

RvP and Aguero.

I think Silva warrants his place. He gets my vote. Then again I'd have Cabaye in there as well.

Waiting....
The short-list is pretty harsh on Newcastle. They could potentially have three on that list, but I'm not surprised that they didn't look beyond "the top 5" teams.

Van Persie must be Best Player; I'd have Aguero as young winner, but I bet it'll be Bale.

Isn't Aguero a little old to be on the second list? Even so, how does one player make both lists? Stupid. In such case I vote Wayne Hennessey for player of the year, and Jody Craddock for young player.

4 seasons ago ronaldo was hands down the best player in the league and the world and also he was just 22 years old.so he cannot win the big prize and not get the ypoty?

I meant the opposite. If a 21 year old is the best player in the league he should just get the Player of the Year award, and leave the YP to someone else.
