Play.com vs the highstreet?!

I pre ordered on Play.com ready to recieve PES 6 a little bit earlier, but this is the second or third time in as many years that I've walked past a highstreet shop, (game today) and saw in the window "NOW SELLING PES 6" and I'm thinking... I wish I hadn't bought it from Play cos I then I'd be playing PES 6 right now and I'm not AND game are selling it FOUR PENCE CHEAPER!

Anyone got it from Play yet? This isn't good. I have to wait at least one more day. :no:

argh i haven't been on the site much recently, it's all confusing and has a different name! Looks like there's loads of other threads like this too... I also just remembered I think I made exactly the same next year. Sorry...

Yeah I bet next year I wont preorder it then it wont come out early... then again that will be PES 7 on the PS3 wont it so maybe pre ordering is the way?

Well play.com did declare to have PES6 in stock on Monday/Tuesday which was before any highstreet released PES6, so maybe thats why they released it early on highstreets?

yeah that's what I was thinking too, then play thought ooo we best not release it yet, but now the shops have play will but it's too little too late

SAME HERE!!! I've been thinking the same since lunchtime when I saw copies all lined up in gamestation! It's a pisstake. Hopefully it comes from play tomorrow, but I wouldn't bank on it.

Slightly annoyed myself but I guess I have no right to be, unless I do not have it in my hands by COP friday as the offical release date is the 27th. Also you can still buy it and return the one you bought from play.

Yea Game are selling it as we speak, might pick it up tommorow on the way back from Uni.

yeah, play have it at £29.99 delivered, GAME have it at £29.95 off your arse and purcahsed the old fashioned way

It's not Play's fault Gamestation, GAME, Chips, and every other console shop in the world is selling PES6 now. If you're that bothered, then go to GAME tomorrow morning and buy it for £29.99 providing the Play version hasn't arrived. Then send one of them back.

I seriously want to play the game myself, however I'm waiting for some great patches to be released before hand. I may rent it, I may not.

I'm not at all angry with play. I'm just angry with myself that I pre ordered it from them when I could have bought it today lol. Oh well, it's no big deal at the end of the day.
