Player development in ML

I've played the ML alot over the past few years. One of the things I absolutely love are the young players who, with youre help and training, can become world class players. I just love to scout for young and promissing players and the kick you get out of it if they become as good as you would have hoped.

I'm planning to start my Ml once the daymos OF v2 comes out and I want to be prepared for it. As you start a ML, you get to choose between normal or dynamic player development. Does anyone knows what's the exact difference between these two development styles? I tried them both for a few weeks in the ML and found that while using the dynamis growth, players grow (or degrade) faster. Also some games, old players grew instead of degrading.

I also skipped an BAL carreer forward to see how players develop this year. In the BAL the development is normal. At first I was kinda bummed out because players don't seem to grow alot in this installment. Villalba for instance, still had a rating under 70 after 5 years, Gignac and wilshere, players who became absolute legends in the past few years looked shite after 5 years. All of the Everton players who start with ratings ranging from 60-70 had just grown 3 or 4 points. Then I discovered that, if a player was in the first 11, they had grown like last years. If they didn't play much, they hadn't developed that much.

Again, it's just a hunch and I still don't know if this is the case or that the "good" developers just got a spot in the first 11 because they had grown to good players. :erm:

So, three weeks after release, does anyone know what the exact difference is between normal and dynamic development.

According to my own totally unscientific testing:
normal = fixed growth curves
dynamic = growth based on a curve AND on starting 11

Like you said, in dynamic even old guys can still improve if they are in the starting 11 consistently.
I feel dynamic is an awesome improvement in the game, because also in real life the starting 11 get better as they play with each other more.

Young guys will still improve when benched, just not as much as when they'd play.

I'm gonna answer this post from a billion years ago coz I have only just found out myself.

PES 2011

Player Development

One of the new additions was that you can choose whether to have Dynamic or Normal player development:
Dynamic: The player will develop more due to good performances while deteriorate while injured.
Normal: The player will follow his development curve.

that clears that up :)

People say dynamic development is according to the games the players play. So imagine i score a free kick with Tevez, does this meanhis fk accuracy goes up, or if i score lot of headers with torres, does his heading go up.

it means, if you sign an 18 year old and leave him on the bench for 5 years, he won't develop. If you play him often he will develop.

Normal development means that they will always develop the same way regardless of how many games they've actually played

ok so based on all of this info...

the players we send out on loan? will they still develop? for example lets say a player of 70 gets loaned out to a team where is now the best overall rated striker, we can assume he will play, do we think this is the same as playing him in your own team?

depends on which type of dvelopment you use
normal - yeah they follow their normal growth curve
dynamic - good peformances will lead the to increase, however bad peformances or sitting on the bench can cuse them to stay the same or even decrease - howver players tend to increase more on dynamic if they are in your club
