Konami didn't take any players out of the game last year i don't see them doing it this year, but you can base copy if you want It is causing duplicates all over the place though so be careful.

Hmmm interesting. I'm sure the likes of Adebayor, Van Der Vaart, Klose, Diego Milito were all removed after the update in PES 2017.
However, I will look out for this. Thanks for the heads up though.

The players have to be base copy before the DLC. For now isnt neccesary but its easier for do it before the live update.

hmm maybe you're right i can't remember if they did or not, but certainly for this day one update they moved everyone to free players.

in near future Konami will replace Bastia with Paris FC.

so its´better to basecopy Mostefa (Algeria,has preset face)before he could be overwritten

If they're in the free pool area is it likely they will stay there by next update. I mean say if Origi gets injured and then is replaced in the international team will they keep him in there or make him disappear as they did with A. Turan once

I believe I have. I went through all "Free Agents" and basecopied them. (Only pre-sets)
Here's one not on the list: B. Sheaf (free agent (is Arsenal u23 player))

These ** PRESET FACED** players were all in Free Agents after the Transfer Update and are due for deletion TODAY. So get Base Copy these players:

The trouble is with Konami they are so inconsistent and amateurish in what they do, I still dare not remove my base copies in case they disappear in the NEXT data pack!! Konami seem to have no rhymn or reason as to how they do things. They didn't even put back Hernandez, Gustavo etc faces, even though they had them in the last game.

I have done this before today's DLC and it helps A LOT.....
Go through all pre-sets in Free Agents.
Base Copy the players who are free agents (Bacary Sagna etc) to Created Players.
ALL RETIRED players I Base Copy over the top of the Youth Team Players. Reduce their age down to 16 and hey presto.

As for the players in the Free Agents, after you have copied them, just reduce their stats to 40. So no one signs them, they just sit there festering.

I don't buy that personally. I actually asked Bhatti on Twitter if we can't have an import/export thing for player faces and he said because of licenses. Well, we have kit and emblem import/export despite licenses, so I'm not sure why faces would be any different.

I hope the players missing faces are added next DP in November.

Not forget, very likely they just don't update ACL team transfers, just like always.

Is everyone going to base copy the Brazilian players who are now in free agents after the DP 2.0? Are they likely to be removed now Konami lost the license for their teams? If so, thats basically anyone who had a preset face for Vasco, Botafogo, Sao Paulo and Fluminense. At the moment I guess it's fairly easy (but very annoying) to just transfer them back into their teams and rename the other players back to what they were, but if Konami remove them in the next data pack, gulp!

Uuhm, well, I know it's 2019, but I recetnly jumped back on PES 2018 and well... I do not have the disc, but downloaded the game (PS4) and the 4th Data Pack is already there, i have no chance to copy base players... it's frustrating...
my questions, if anyone still have the copy base players somewhere and can publish them?

[EDIT]: or maybe a way, to install the game without the Data Packs?
