OMGG!....warning i do not recommend anyone to try this for future updates, but trust me this is true. well i wanted 2 try out my theory of base copying players over free agents the ones that were going to disappear after the january update on tuesday night, so i decided 2 try this on another ps3 user so as my edit data on my regualar user would stay intact (silly me not knowing the update is 4 the whole ps3 system), so i later found out that the theory of the "base copy over free agents" worked and i decided 2 go bak 2 my normal user 2 base copy my beloved players who were gonna disappear, when i was bombarded with the message, do you want 2 apply the update data to ur original data (something along those lines), so i selected do not apply and went into the game finding that all the new boots and kits were there even though i selected do not apply, my heart sunk as i thought all my players from my patch had gone because of the update but i found that they were all there and also players like ronaldinho were still there all the squads had been untouched, again my heart sank thinking i will have to create every transfer. so i started with arsenal creating the transfers, then aston villa e.g. pires... etc then i decided to use the search operation in the game to search for some in game players to transfer and i came across J.sala, (im sure he was not in the game before the update) so i added him to chelsea, then i searched mceachran, and he was there to :D i have now found out all the konami transfers for January were in the game as free agents and all i need 2 do is transfer them to the right teams, and i still have the players that were supposed to disappear with no corruption at all on my edit data and works perfectly. BINGO!!
