Why did they removied this option in BAL,i would really really love to play GK. I watched videos from pes12 on youtube and it looks really fun.

Why remove something which some people could enjoy..Its like konami is stupid :mellow:


Also interested how did that played out,with GK in BAL. Those who played GK,tell me more :eek: ?!

I don't think that would be much fun Marko. The only way you'd get a lot of action is if your team is not doing very well, battling away at the bottom of the league. If you were in a successful team and going for trophies you'd spend the majority of your time watching the AI kick the ball about and run in to each other etc!

I don't know it looks fun to me,being the goalkeeper,the tense when opponent centreforward is rushing towards you,will you rush to him or wait..THE DECISIONS! haha :p

Playing as a GK was never a option, it was just a bug in the game before PES 2013. What would happen was that if your team only had 1 GK & he was injured or suspended you may have got picked to play in goal.

Konami have fixed that this year by making sure that your GK rating is always 49 so will be worse than anyone else in your team so you will never get picked to play in goal.

You can easily fix that with some hex editing, or alternatively use a BAL editor though. Give yourself 99 GK skill, and you WILL get picked for goal duty at some point.
