Yeah, you can include Oblivion and NBA 2K7 too, but apart from that, there isn't much to drool about. Waiting to get the console on GTA IV's release is not a bad option certainly, but why not get it when Assassin's creed comes out?!? :w00t:

Oblivion would be up there too but I didn't include since it has been out for awhile (and because I already have it for PC.) Apart from football, not much into other sports games so I won't comment on NBA 2K7. Assassin's Creed definitely looks good although as far as I know, there isn't an exact release date on it. With the likes of GTA IV and Assassin's Creed then I might just cave into the PS3 a bit early than I was hoping. I could try and get one off eBay since some are going quite cheap.

I'm looking forward to getting the Playstation 3. I should be getting it in August when i go into America. Cheaper over there.

NBA 2007 looks brilliant.

the only thing in that 'elite' is the hdmi n bigger HDD, still no built in wi-fi and no built in hd dvd drive, further proof that blu ray is going to win the war and that the PS3 is far better value at that price.

i read on endgadget that Microsoft doesn't know what standard the HDMI in the 'elite' is? How stupid is that, I'm glad they know what they are selling!

PS3 is one of very FEW products on the market that use HDMI v1.3.

anyone here remember last summer when MS said 1080p wasnt important and that the PS3 will not have 1080p games before the end of 2006..

In America, the PS3 costs exactly £310.

What the fuck.

UK customers being ripped off by £115.

Stupid cunts would be making more money if it actually cost £310 instead of the ridiculous £425.

Its worth the money I can tell you!

I have motorstorm, what a treat it has been so far. The tv ads don't do it justice

That's only because the exchange rate is abnormally high, under normal conditions the relative pricing would be about right with the inclusion of 17.5 VAT.

The PS3 costs different prices across the US, Asia, Australia and Europe and it's always the case that if your in the UK you usually pay more for consoles and games etc!

I have the MotorStorm demo and I am definitely impressed. But how is it as a full game? How many tracks and vehicles are there available? Is it really worth buying?

Because it'll either be this or Oblivion for me as my next game, hopefully.

If you were upset at the announcement of the Xbox 360 Elite you're going to love this..it looks like Sony are planning a third version of the PlayStation 3.

Sony has sought legal approval for changes to the PS3, with a bigger 80GB hard drive and new Bluetooth support.

According to Sony themselves: "As mentioned when we made the product announcement for PS3, the system will have different configurations."

Source please.

If true, then it's good news.

The price of the 20 and 60 Gig PS3 will surely go down after the release of an 80 Gig PS3.

Hell, the price of the 20 and 60 Gig PS3 will go down anyway after the release of the 120 Gig Xbox 360. Never mind the 80 Gig PS3.

Not impressed so far, probably because of the games. It seems a crime to ask that much for a console and say at the same time that it's only being used for 25 procent for now( talking games here, not the CD/DVD bull). There's alot of potential though, no one will deny that. Shame they stole alot of Xbox Live features, although if it ain't broke don't fix it so it was a good move.

You forgot about the Blu-Ray factor. That more than justifies the price, for now at least.

Id prefer it if they just left the Blu-Ray thing out and just sold it for a cheaper price...
