Main annoyances with the PES14 edit mode (aside from it being really slow - like most of the menus) are the removal of the following.
1: Ability to "base copy" existing players as well as created ones.
2: "Colour create" option where you could start with the palette colours as a base (it's really annoying to have to start from brilliant white every time and have to match the shade to another part of the kit)
3: Ability to add "custom" shapes to the editing (like a pre-made sponsor logo) In PES14 unless you can make a png - you have to start from scratch for each chest logo.
4: USB image support - like the PS3 used to have.
5: More font styles and the return of the "font outline" option from PES2010.
New suggestions
1: To be able to "copy a kit" entirely from one to the other (especially for trying to make alternate kits for the same team)
2: Adding the "In game" logos to the edit selections, so we can edit them as we can our own (obviously not the licensed ones perhaps).
3: Palette colours of licensed teams (like in NHL and Madden games) so you can have the exact shade of Red that Manchester United use (always handy for making custom kits)
4: Boot editor along the lines of the early PES games.
5: Adding player animation "ID" moves to "create/edit" players. So we can make a created player move EXACTLY like a player ID player.
Also bring back the "classic" teams - it's nice to have even a non-licensed version of Maradona.
