Premier League Numbers.....

I have both the FrenChroniK and Agimar's patches, I prefer Agimar's, except for the fact the England League and Real Madrid numbers are not in it.

As Stevomilan's patch download is not working, I want to get the Shirt numbers and letters from FrenChroniK and put it in to Agimar's patch. I've been scrolling through all the bin's, but I notice that it's not as simple as just replacing the bins!

So what is the file I need to change to get the numbers to link to the shirts? And is it as easy as just replacing the kit bins, the number and letter bins and then whatever the other file is? Or will this cause other things to mess up?

Also, how do I change the match time and score font?

Cheers.

The file that links kits/numbers/fonts to teams is param_dat_27.bin in cv_1. And yes, it is just as easy as replacing the bins - you just need to make sure you have enough reserved space.

For scoreboard stuff, do a forum search for the username "tonycrew".

Since you're mixing two patches, there really isn't an easy way. You can use AFS Explorer to extract the files from FrenChroniK's cv_0, but you're going to have to rename all of them before you insert them into Agimar's cv_0 because the EPL kits/fonts/numbers are in different places in the two patches. So you'd have to rename the following...

(unnamed_3145.bin - unnamed_3220.bin) --> (unnamed_3193.bin - unnamed_3264.bin)

(unnamed_4169.bin - unnamed_4244.bin) --> (unnamed_4217.bin - unnamed_4288.bin)

(unnamed_7915.bin - unnamed_7952.bin) --> (unnamed_7939.bin - unnamed_7974.bin)

Then you'd import them all into Agimar's cv_0. You're own your own for adjusting the reserved space, but when you import the folder it will tell you what you need to adjust.

Are you playing NTSC or PAL version?

What if I take all the kit, number and letter bins from FrenChroniK's patch and import them in over Agimars along with param_dat_27.bin?

Will that not give me all the kits and shirt fonts with everything from the original menu?

i dont think it would cuz they have them in different places, u could use yogui's tool n c they r relinked to different files

I have to politely disagree, rg11. If he inserts ALL of the FC kits/letters/numbers into Agimar - and uses the FC param - it would have to point to the right places.

Let's say, in Agimar 7900-7901 is Chelsea, and 8000-8001 is Portugal.

And in FC 7900-7901 is Celtic, and 8000-8001 is France.

If he imported ALL the kit/letter/number files from FC into Agimar's cv_0, and used the original (Agimar) param_dat, Chelsea would wear Celtic kit and Portugal would wear France. (And you're right, in this case he'd have to use Yogui's KMM to relink them.)

But if he imports the param_dat from FC, Chelsea and Portugal (and everyone else) would wear the proper kits.

I think the only problem he might run into would be reserved space, if any of the files are different in size from one patch to the other (I think Bayern Munich might be, if I remember correctly).

Have run in to problems with numbers etc, then GGS decides to crash.

Also problems with the fact that the leagues are different for each patch making it a right ball ache and more than I anticipated originally. What other ways can I import the kit numbers?

I give up. Has anyone got Stevomilan's patch they could upload for me?

Or at least Agimar's patch with Premiership numbers?
