You may remember the topic i created back in September asking if there was a demand for a PES league so we could play like minded players and avoid the cheats that ruin PES online, well there was and we had a successful trial season as part of a Fifa forum (formerly known as PEN) with 50 active league members after just one trial season. Due to its success the sites owner has now relaunched PEN (went up late last night) so instead of being crammed into a corner of the fifa site we now have our very own PES dedicated site
We have some spaces free in both the 360 and PS3 leagues which we are looking to fill before the first real season kicks off either next weekend or the following weekend, we want to get atleast 60 league spaces filled up and then have some members on the waiting list just incase the new members drop out at some point. It will be a first come, first served basis until the League is full. After that the most active members on the waiting list will fill vacancies when they appear.

So what is it all about?
Think of the league as a cross between playing PES and Football Manager, or even an online interactive Master League. This site in its various guises has been at the forefront of online leagues since 2004 as seen here in the official Xbox magazine
http://www.oxm.co.uk/1700/got-pro-evo-sign-up-to-pro-evo-network/
The aim of the game is simple, build a winning team and conquer the PES world.
Teams
Are you sick of Real Madrid vs Barca? or those superstar teams in MLO? If the answer is yes then you have come to the right place, Every manager will start out with an average team (the likes of Swansea, Palermo etc) along with a budget that will be calculated on player ratings and player numbers.
Leagues
We are looking to run two leagues of 12 for the Xbox and three leagues of 12 for the PS3. Another league of 12 for each system may be added depending on how many new members join before the kick off date.
Seasons
Each season runs for xx weeks but don’t worry, all your hard work will not be undone. The next season carries on from where you left off. So don’t get caught out spending all of your money on the 36 year old who is about to retire, or sell the next big thing who is going to get a huge stats boost. The only way real life transfers will effect your team is if your player moves to a team who is not on the game, meaning he will no longer be on the game himself.
We play Four Fixtures per fortnight giving you plenty of time to arrange and play your games, more info on that in the forum.
Transfers
MLO is a very popular mode but we feel we can do an even better job, the major positive being no cheats and no constant through ball spamming (the full powered through balls from defence straight to the attackers) and it can be addictive negotiating over transfers with other managers rather than paying the set price of a player on MLO.
We use Edit Mode to alter your team after a transaction has been made, then you save your new squad in Master League to use that squad online. There is a video tutorial on the forum for those of you who have never used Master League teams online.
Once you have been issued your team, they are under your full control. You can sell your star striker to another member, or maybe trade for his centre back, or if you are in need of a squad overhaul why not trade that striker for a handful of players. There really is no limit to the ways you can deal...
What is your philosophy? will you be a wheeler dealer like Harry Redknapp? will you buy players you like and then try and mold them into a winning team? Or will you be Barcelona and only buy players that suit your system and style? The choice is yours.
Free Agent Fridays
Every Friday an undisclosed auction is held for a small number of players who are not currently involved in the league.
It is up to you whether you bid and what you do if you win...just be sure to have enough money in the bank unless you want a visit from my 'associates'
Every now and then a random auction will be posted up, so it is always good to keep active on the forum in case you miss out on your favourite player.
Making Money
Not got enough of a budget...
Fear not. There are many ways to make money within the league other than selling players. Get paid for participation in special online events and one night mini cups, those that get their games played on time can also expect a bonus, as can those who write articles for the site.
For those who like to take a risk, why not pay a visit to our bookies.
There will be bonuses and achievements for top scorers and tightest defence, goal of the month and so on.
And if all that wasn’t enough...you can always turn to the bank.
Financing
The league is presided over by an unscrupulous and disgraced former city banker. He will want to lend you money through loans...be warned though, money is never free. Those loans need to be paid back on time or else you could find yourself in administration.
Rules
Be sure you familiarise yourself with the rules in the forum (they go into much more depth)... The banker likes nothing better than fining you for playing ineligible players or for going under the 18 man squad minimum.
Have fun and don’t be shy to ask questions even if you think they are silly.
and most importantly, the league is built on a tight knit friendly community so get involved in the forums if you want to get the most out of it, and remember the staff are here to help you so dont be afraid to ask questions. You will soon find yourself doing transfers at work and making sure no one has been sold while you were in that 2 hour meeting, just like the rest of us.
manual League
Here at Pro Evo Network we try and cater to all styles and setting levels. Some of us like to play PES in its rawest form - fully manual passing and shooting. We run a active fully manual league running alongside the regular leagues for you guys.
This league doesn't include transfers, we have kept it simple for the fully manual players looking to compete against one another, no more waiting for the Konami servers to eventually match you up with another manual player, no more playing vs assisted superstar teams/Barca/Real Madrid. for all you manual players this is your haven.
The quality of team differs to the main league due to the lack of transfers, you will be using teams such as Porto, Newcastle, Everton etc. You are required to play two of your fixtures within a week, giving you plenty of time to arrange and play your games.
