Hey,

I noticed that when I use the manual shot option the headers often don't go in the direction i aim. I am using the arrow which helps me and I aim on the second post or sometimes even behind me, but the ball goes on the first post.
Does anyone expirienced something simlar or knows whether its a bug or a feature?

cheers

I have no idea. I can't seem to score headers for the life of me. During corners, I usually win a clean header 80% of the time, but they always go down and wide or up and over, no matter which way I point the stick.

Any tips for you veterans?

Tap the SHOOT button as soon as the ball leaves the crosser/corner taker's foot. If the player is heading from a stationary position, i.e., not while running towards the ball, tap the Shoot button again before he heads the ball.
Importantly stop giving directions on where to head the ball.

I'm gonna try this cause I'm in the exact same position as Coach. I should score way more goals from set pieces than I do.

Manual shot is broken, don't use it, anyone who thinks it is workable is lying and anyone you hear tell you they use it are probably lying too, it's a mess and only good for direct shots (I have poured loads of hours trying to work out manual but the reality is it is broken, I made a post about the methods I used for practicing, trust me it was rigorous, so if you want my advice go for Basic or Advanced, both have pros and cons but I would opt for advanced if you are good with the knuckle timing but for snap shots and ability to dig power out of nowhere go with Basic, the timing is quicker (from the time it takes to press shoot to the moment the ball leaves your foot).
