[PS2] JoeH's PES 2009 Option File v2.3 (inc. CL)

This is my Version 2.3

This is a base on Smoki's great V2.2 Option File. Most of the work is his. This also contains the brand new re-vamped master league he spent many hours working on.

The things I have edited as a continuation of Smoki's OF are:

-More special hairstyles than any other PS2 option file. Such as Robinho longer on top than around the sides, Pienaar/R. Gardner dreadlocks and much, much more.

-Great stats update so you can enjoy the here and now, as well as the master league experience.

-Revised PL names, so they are shorter. (e.g. Cesc Fabregas is now Fabregas etc.)

-Revised many commentary call names.

-Revised team names to make them shorter. Don't see the point in lengthy team names, so now (e.g.) Glasgow Celtic is now Celtic etc.

-Completely revised the boots so they go with my old OF.

-Shop fully unlocked with 99,999 points that are of no use...

-Fully updated 11 PL teams complete with new players, full physique/face/accessories updates as well as stats revamp for realism.

-More high quality emblems. Replaced Villareal, Aalborg, Ajax, FC Basel, Hull City, Middlesbrough, Chelsea, Newcastle and more.

-Revised stadium, league and cup names.

-Re-assigned loads of stadiums for teams for realism. This is for all leagues.

-Some new transfers done like Zayette at Hull and Anthony Annan at Rosenborg.

There is no PSP file yet as I do not own the game on PSP, if anyone has put my file on PSP please send it to me so that I can make it available to others.

I update this file quite often with more great appearences and stats, so if you're a user, keep an eye out.

By the way, just an advice, don't edit the player stats please, you'll just do worse I'm sure. One final thing, "-Corrected names for USA players." Come on! Who bloody cares? Good effort though. Will be looking forward to download the complete option file.

BTW, how exactly do I get the option file from my pc to my ps2, I'm kinda new to this, any help would be appreciated, even help from a dodgy gooner

Yeah, If you own a max drive which is needed for this, then you download the file onto the max drive, then you load up the max drive disc on your PS2, then plug the max drive into the usb port of your PS2. Then go to the memory card part and access the max drive. Then you highlight it, and selcet uncrush onto your memory card.

JoeH don't care about him, this OF is great, i like the way you have edited some player faces + hair colours etc etc. And your previous work rox as well! Keep it up and sorry about your dad, i can't imagine how it feels.

BTW Do you think it will be possible to edit the Arsenal shirt stripes and make Addidas stripy shorts when the compulsions PES 2009 Editor comes out? Or do i have to patch my PES 2009 :/

I told you this is just a basic option file to get people started so that they aren't playing with North London and Man Blue.

F**k me I didn't realise PES was so important to some sad people.

Also this is really just to help me take my mind off of things. I had to deal with the death of my father 27 days ago and I'm only 18 and he was only 44. Obviously you wouldn't know that but your inconsideration pisses me off.

In fact I will be only able to play it on December seeing that I'm not in Portugal at the moment. And no, I'm not sad, don't worry, I'm quite merry actually. I liked them when they had Fowler, Danny Murphy, Owen, McManaman etc etc. Those were days. To be honest, the real good days were with Kenny Dalglish!

Yeah, I know what you mean, I tried to edit PES when I was younger, but I tried just that time. It's really hardwork so keep it up!

Anyway you're right, it should work well as a basis, but I think that I'll tell my brother to wait for a complete one to download. That bloody pillock he's really digging the become a legend stuff. Jesus.

I really don't care about stats. However If some are really bizarre I'll surely correct them.

Now has all kits for Arsenal, Blackburn Rovers, Aston Villa, Fulham, Tottenham, Newcastle United and Chelsea. I don't have the logo's for the kits yet so for the swoosh a slanted J has been used. Teams like Chelsea and Arsenal that don't require a sponsor logo seem to be done.

Dorval, I don't really have a problem posting issues about my personal life because I don't know anyone here in real life except for Dollard421. So it's not like someone I know would be finding it out. I just wanted to give you a flavour of what I felt. Like just suffered a parental bereavement, then someone is critisizing you for things that are just not important when all I've tried to do is help people out. So you can imagine it's the last thing that I needed.

Sorry everyone, haven't been at home for two weeks. So haven't used PES. The OF i'm using at the minute has title case letters. But soon I will be using Smoki's OF as a base if I continue to develop this OF. I will be updating the player stats and appearences to match my PES 2008 OF. May re-look at stats as i'm doing it to avoid any ott stats. Appearences won't be PL only. All leagues will be done eventually.

Yeah im thinking about combining mine with someone's who has already added the Bundesliga. I'm going to start on more appearences and possibly stats for another update.
