Thought I'd come on here whilst I'm downloading the update.

I've got a PS3 and would love to get my face put into the game - just to see what it's like. I don't have an EyeToy or Playstation Eye but was wondering if without these, there's anyway I could upload a photo into the game?

I just took a pic of my face with my phone, put it on the laptop, copied it onto a memory stick then uploaded the pic onto the ps3. Save the pic then you can use it when editing your appearence in the BAL mode.

Save the picture in JPEG format (make sure it is under 2 megs) in a folder called PICTURES inside a folder called PS3 on a memory stick. Insert it into your PS3 and copy it to your PS3 Hard Drive. You can then import the image into PES when you create or edit a player.

But make sure you have the resolution right. I think there are some resolution restriction.
BTW where can I find and install the update for my new ps3 version of pes 2009? I'm new to the ps3 aswell but I managed to find how to upload faces.
But where can I download and install the update (the one with transfers)?

go to system settings and in there it should give you the option fo downloading. do it by peer to peer but make sure you arent sitting there, keep yourself occupied and when done restart the game it gives you the option file.
