PS3 Jailbreak ftp for option files

as u well know there is an ftp app for jailbreak users,was wondering if anyone had figured out how to transfer option files across without having to do it file by file from usb stick,cheers

ok psx scene there is an ftp app,install it how u do backup manager ie put pkg file on root of external device,click install package files,once it installs,put an ethernet cable from pc to ps3,load the ftp app at the top of the screen it should give u an ip address ie 192.168.1.15 is mine,on your pc simply load flash fxp,flashzilla or any ftp app of ur choice,connect to ps3 ip go to that directory and simply transfer the files from left window (pc) to right window (ps3) into that directory above

edit, suggest u put ethernet cabe in before u boot up ps3 otherwise u won't get a correct ip until u reboot ps3,there is no password just the ip is needed

did u have an edit on it currently? u need to overwrite it with the one from option file,

@zainchelski, ur not connecting to psn so it won't ask you to update bla,make sure ur ps3 internet is set to wired and not wireless,and yes ftp app only works on jailbreak

This is just a huge step forward to copy the savegames to the ps3


Can anyone confirm that this actually works ?!?

it works perfectly fine,the issue ur having is the option file u downloaded isn't the same bles number as the copy you have so it shows as corrupt
