Came through Hamilton youth programme and a huge prospect. Has already turned down moves to Liverpool and Tottenham. Has been compared to Steven Gerrad in the style he plays. Was just 15 when he made his first team debut for Hamilton but has since matured into a top player who was able to hold his own in the Scottish First Division in season 2007/2008 and big things are expected in 2008/2009. Could have played for Scotland but instead chose the Republic of Ireland in honour of his grandfather who came from County Donegal.
In January 2009 it was reported that Hamilton had rejected a 1.5 million pound offer for McCarthy from Serie A side Lazio.

Hi, im having troubling installing :/ any one help me
Create a folder on the pen drive called PS3 then inside that one create another called SAVEDATA extract all the files from my download into the SAVEDATA folder then go to the PS3 and copy them one by one. Start PES 2009 if prompted to save say yes an there your done. ---Quoted from dukes
