Are a lot of teams affected? I only really use the game for offline 2-player (no master league), are a lot of European club/national teams messed up?

Hi, as far as I can tell there are no major problems.
I've noticed some players with incorrect appearances (white players being black etc) but I only use the OF for offline exhibition matches so it's not a big deal for me.
I think if you play Master League there's probably more stuff messed up (duplicate players etc).
Other than that I'm not sure, no-one's posted specifics on what last months Konami update "broke".

Hey thanks for your reply my friend, but I am going to play MASTER LEAGUE, I wonder if there are any patches here that you know don't contain these kind of KILLING problems that will occur in MASTER LEAGUE, black guys being white, repeated players, these things are not acceptable for MASTER LEAGUE...
I don't think there is one, sorry. I waited weeks trying to find a file that had been updated after the latest Konami updates, if you find one let me know!

This is really helpful. I am wondering playing PES with full licensed player and teams.
however I got a problem, every time I try to follow the instructions (using patch stand alone), when I copy the data from USB, I always get "loading failed" notification.
I tried with 2 different usbs and the results same.
Does anyone can help me on this ? Thanks a lot

Hi, Konami almost fixed this problem, you used to have to copy them in batches of 20. Now I find it only crashes if you try to copy a complete file, usually splitting it into two works.
I've found a way for having an option file without any free players "fakes" but who's appears in ML...
For example, if you create Bayern, the removed players will be on "free agent", and can be signed in any team.
It's not the case with duplicate players from NT, they doesn't appears.
So, i will create a thread when i'm done, it's based on DLC 2.0, Erzo Exports from Liga Mx/Others America, and Onlyproevolutions for Bundesliga, Others Euro and J-League (i like their stats, and every players have created faces)
Some players are taken from Pesteams too.
But i've added many thing myself too : more playable positions, playing style, tactics, formations, custom stadiums for every teams excepted, and also undershirt/undershort with the same color as the kits for every teams, using 2 programs (one for extracting the color, the second to convert)
I use the best i've found, 4N63L in majority, Buffon99, PESWORLD exports, i've make research also for some Turkey/Russia website to find good kits.
We're a big community, who need to support each others, so i don't think they'll be mad if i use their kits; everyone be of course in the credits
So, the option file is very structured, i've removed then recreated every players non-eligible in ML who was transfered to created teams (like M. Dembele moved to Celtics as an example)
For example, if you create Bayern, the removed players will be on "free agent", and can be signed in any team.

-1st Step: Since i've make copy of many players before the 2.00 DLC, i've got a big database if i want to re-basecopy... And that's what i've done them every free and fake players unused in my option file. Then i've make a transfers reset and then exports all teams data.
So you'll have to import all data at first, for having those player's.
-2nd Step: Now, we really are importing the teams data/transfers.
The system from the 1st step will allow all real players removed i've basecopied example for Bayern, Copenhagen, Galatasaray etc. to go on "free agent".
So the issue with the fake players in ML is gone.
-3rd Step: For every club with real players, it's better not touching the players and formations, but only graphics and club informations: I make this for having a better compatibility with the Live Update system.
So, don't check "Apply player and squad data" for those one.
All you'll have to do if you apply a Live update, is to re-import all fake leagues i've exported (2nd step)

Well, since patches seem to destroy everything, i'm waiting until they decide they are done patching this game.

First-time PES player (just got game for Christmas), and although I and my kids were thrilled at the gameplay and realism of PES 2017 on the PS4, we were dismayed to see the lack of licenses.
I've found this Chris Davies BOE OF to be easy to follow/install (so far), but I'm confused about importing the competition logos, names, and details after I install the BIN files with the team names and kits.
I'm following the ReadMe file on the BOE OF Version 2 DP2 Standalone file. I don't see enough information to know what to do with the Competition logos. It says in the file: "refer to the original download file if necessary, to look up each of the names of the competition logo files."
Can anyone help by providing more information about what to do after I install the team BIN files? Thanks so much...looking forward to enjoying the full capabilities of this game; much thanks to those who have provided their talents to enriching this game for so many.

Returned to PES recently after a few years (had babies so no time). I downloaded the standalone file, checked all the data it looked amazing. My beloved Bournemouth were no longer East Dorsetshire and then I went to play, tried pressing R3 to stop live update but it did it any way now Ive lost all the changes and I'm back with all the default Konami teams. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to download a different OP (not the standalone one)? Great option file by the way, huge thank you for all your effort.

At the team select menu click R3 to turn off Live Update then press circle, when you go back in it should be OK.
If you've applied Live Update in the main menu after adding an OF you'll need to add it again.
Hello, I bought my PES 2017 a few days ago but I'm really disappointed because of lack of the license in this game, as usual. I'm planning to load a patch from this site but unfortunately I'm a bit confused about the final and the latest version of the patch that should be loaded. I don't also know if I have to install all the patches from this site or it's enough to install just one patch among these that are available here.

There isn't a complete patch anywhere (if you find one please let me know!). Both this one and the DFL one are nearly complete, there are some errors though because Konami keep releasing updates that break stuff. I've only noticed some errors with player appearances, there's supposed to be some duplicate players if you play Master League too. If you just want to play with more teams and no fake names it's fine.
There have been updates by other posters both for this and the DFL option files but to be honest I have no idea what they've edited or what files to add/in what order (they never post release notes).
