Hello,

I am debating switching to PES after years of playing FIFA (I was once a great PES fan but in the late 2000s it got so poor I had to switch) and I was wondering about the online lag situation. I love playing online and I read conflicting information online. I read it improved from 2016 but it is still bad at times.

Can someone who actually played give me some feedback?

All depends on what kind of connection you have, and your opponents connection.
Lag exists, more than desirable, but this year you can select from 1 to 5 level of connection, being the 5 the best.

IMO Konami can and should improve connections to the online gaming, but they don't give a shit about it.

If EA FIFA can make it easy for players to use online gaming, Konami should do the same.

But again they just want our money, when we buy the game...

Take it from someone who has been here since day 1...PES online sucks big time. Now this also depends IF ..thats a big IF you can find an opponent who plays online.

PES is basically an offline game. There is no debate here.

BTW ..why are you leaving Fifa? Getting your butt kicked I bet :w00t

Both games are worth a try....send feedback please.

It really does depend. Sometimes I get a good connection and it feels like i'm playing offline but other times it can be painfully slow which frustrates the hell out of me.

Overall I do enjoy the MyClub option and playing randoms online.
