Now that i have finally own a ps4 and was hoping to play pes but learing that you can't do much with the editing reminds me of the ps2 era where i had to make my very own OF which i dont want to go through that again game after game and i dont want to play the game unedited, leaves me in a situation that i might switch over to Fifa

Yes, if editing isint something you are willing to do, then it can be even more painful. If FIFA is a solution for you, then afcorse, play what gives you the best experience. But if you still want to stick with PES, I would suggest you just do consentrate on what you consider the most important things. Like if you like Premier League, then edit only that league. There is no need to make everything licensed and complete. I spent countless hours in editing pretty much everything I can see, so I could start my Master League, but the truth is, I havent noticed most of it, since I was playing only in two leagues and coaching clubs from there only. Besides, you wont edit everything, there will still be lots of fake/strange stuff. So my advice is to do the basics, those things that you notice the most.
