PSN Recommendations

Hands are held up, I have no doubt this is utterly superfluous and will no doubt need merging with another thread, but at my age searching and patience are not mutual.

PSN are offering some excellent prices on download titles. I've no idea which to plump for. So advice needed. Also, some of you may not be aware of the current price drop on PSN UK prices.

Bear in mind I have no interest purchasing from an online stockist for the physical media and waiting for it to be posted ... let alone go to a store.

To me, at least, some of these seem fairly competitively priced.

There are bloody loads but these were the immediate ones that caught my attention. I'm somewhat drawn to Deus Ex and Bioshock 2 but I really want something to hold my interest.

ICO & Shadow of the Colossus is meant to be very good from what I've heard and seems worth getting at that price. The Dead Space prices seem quite expensive as a guy I work with just bought Dead Space and Dead Space 2 for just over £15 in total.

I'm not much more help than that unfortunately as I've only played LA Noire from the games on that list and I'd say that's a little overpriced.

Dragon Age was/is a great RPG. Deus Ex was pretty good. Played both on PC though, obviously.

God of War collection I/II seems a particularly good deal. 4 great games for £19.99.... awesome stuff. I was delighted to get the II collection for about 15 quid, so for £19.99 it seems like a must buy for me.

I think it is, it's not called a "super bundle" for no reason. GoW Collection I contains the first 2 games, collection II contains the PSP games.

Dragon Age is longer and the better game. Dragon Age 2 (for reference) is a bit of a letdown.

What has put me off the PS3 version is that the combat is better on the PC. That and the game is easier on the Console version. Meh.

Maybe Bioshock2 is worth a sniff.

I give my seal of approval to GOW Super Bundle and Ico/SOTC.

WIth GOW, the two Ps2 games i've never played, but the PSP games were quality and I can only imagine the others are even better.

Ico is just an amazing game. It's only about 4-6 hours long though, but it is an experience and a half. SOTC is epic, but I couldn't bring myself to brutally murder all of the Colossi (some who are just doing nothing but going about their daily lives) so I gave up. Faggy reason to quit, but i'm a fag.

As something of a complete contradiction, I swung by Tesco last night and bought Deus Ex for £12.

It doesn't include the DLC but I can pick that up. Should I enjoy the game.
