How do you buy players in ML?

I already added several to the scout list, and selected one to "start negotiations" or something like that... he was moved to another list...

How do I offer contracts, and bids?


What am I missing?

Yes, under Options at the top menu of ML there is an option to edit the your players' numbers.

Your scout takes care of all the negotiating. If an agreement between the scout and the player is made, the scout will present the agreement to you for approval. You can a) accept it, b) modify it and ask the scout to present it back to the player for his approval or c) reject it ending negiotiations.

There is definitely a benefit of having a level 5 scout. He can negotiate with up to 5 players at once and he basically gives you everything about the player that you know about your own players from their dossier screens such as their loyalty to their current team and whether or not they are upset by not playing or playing out of position. This is helpfull to determine which players are more receptive to a transfer. The "unlikely to transfer" comment covers a wide range of players so seeing the length of their loyalty bar is much more helpful.

How do you find out who scored when you sim the games?

I wish I knew the answer to this one. The only way I know now is by noting how many goals each player has before the game and then checking again after the game. Very painful and you still don't know how or when the goals were scored.

you cant change abilities like attack,shot acc,speed etc but you can give them style cards

Yah but i view this as cheating, you should not be able to edit any kind of ability, only appearances shud be acceptable:realmad:

Yes the longer you hold down the shoot button - the higher your shot will go. The longer you hold a direction stick/button the wider the ball will be hit.

i suggest you jump into training mode and practice for a minute. set up a free kick as close as you can and it lets you practice penalties. you'll get the hang of it in a few. i'm most comfortable with pressing the shoot button first to adjust height and then as he runs up to kick it i press the direction i want it to go in. it gives me a good rhythm. test it out.

5. Any tips on getting arrows to stay red ? On the flipside I play as Birmingham and Barry Ferguson's arrow hasnt been anything but Blue or purple and Im 12 games into the season - any advice on this as often much of my team's arrows or pointing downwards.

Youth lost forever?

Question(s):
If I don't sign the players in my youth team to pro contracts within a specific time frame, do they disappear from the game or become free agents?

a) If they DO disappear, then how do i know if the CPU teams are NOT signing youth players that are regenerated from the national teams and just letting them disappear?

b) Would that mean that every ML would have different youth players from the national team?

Not sure what you asking but players' teamwork will drop drastically initially when they join your team so don't worry, it'll climb back up. :happy:

i had a defender who was losing stats early, treid to sell him that year as well but it didn't eventuate. then a year later he's stats shot and starting growing again. my advice is to keep him on and hopefully he will grow.

ok, last season valencia was losing stats.. but this season, his stats is growing better.. I hope my new player also be like that at the next season

habe ein Problem in der Meister-Liga.

Ich habe den Patch von Abstruso installiert (von der ersten seite in diesem thread, der mit dem obersten bild, mit dem löwen^^)

jetzt habe ich in der meister-liga das problem, dass dann spieler der bundesliga als jugendspieler auftauchen. zum beispiel war franck ribery als 18 jähriger aufeinmal bei ac milan.

kann mir da jemand helfen??
