Looking at getting PES 2011 as I need a new game to play, so I downloaded the demo on Xbox but i feel there are too many silly free kicks and no advantage is this the case in the full game?

Thanks
Ross

Well as you don't hold the pressure button constantly you won't get penalised. Tackling has to be 'quite' precise. Perhaps a little 'too' precise.

Its all in the hips. That split second where it all depends on you getting the foot infront. Makes sence... Prob. not.

Yeah there has been a few times when I got the ball a FK has been given which was annoying :realmad: Will have a look at how cheap it is as im bored of FIFA, and it seems alot better than previous next gen PES which looks promising.

I consider the Slide Tackling the worst part of the new tackling system. Inexplicably your trailing leg will catch the opponent before the sliding leg. In terms of game physics it makes no sense. They used to have hooked slide tackles on PES. Now we have the Jermaine Jenas trailing leg slide tackle system.

Yep is silly really, i feel they have gone backwards but forwards at the same time.

I play on the xbox and my answer get this game and you will be amazed. I do not think that there are too many free kicks.

Fact: The referee are less strict about tackles in full game compared to demo, i played the demo and thought it was nice since you couldnt just spam the pressure button mindlessly, but in the full game you can. I dont know why the people above is saying its the same as demo. The advantage thing tho is pretty much the same i think.

I'm with Typho2k on this. Sminky's reply left me wondering. There's clearly fewer fouls in the final version. Perhaps even too few now.

Methinks we are playing different games!

Still, I respect your opinion (factually accurate or not) but I'm maintaining my stance on tackling.

The ref seems to only give me an advantage when I don't want one, the AI gets special treatment though, not as bad as the refs that were clearly paid off before the game in pes 2010. Don't know why konami pussied out and dumbed down the refs pre release, its a fucking joke really that the refs are worse than pes 3,4,5 and 6, I guarantee konami could have the refs more consistent if they wanted to.
