Quick Questions on 10's BAL

I played BAL on its debut in PES 2009 and was bitterly disappointed by the lack of improvements PES 2010 brought (even the interface is merely repainted). I am sure plenty have raised this complaint and as such I'll not talk about it anymore. Just had to say it.

Note: I play on Top Player as an SMF. In 09, an SS on the same level.

Topic;

  1. How exactly does your BAL player improve, and improve uniquely? As the starting stats are only marginally different at best, wouldn't most BALs end up basically identical?

    I observe that the one factor that increase your stats is basically the Focus Point, and not your actual performance (it's a factor, but a miniscule one). If, say, you become a better player by performing better, it would make a lot more sense. Am I mistaken or perhaps missing certain points?

  2. How good will your BAL become? I have not played beyond 21-22 years of age (see point 3), so I can't confirm this. I am quite worried they'd end up mediocre since when you look at other teens in the game, Fiorentina's Stevan Jovetic for example, they start miles ahead of us.

  3. How the fark do you attract big clubs basically? I have had offers by the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea, but it was in mid-season and my team (West Ham) was in a better position than them. By the end of the season, my BAL was kicked out of West Ham due to skipping matches despite being a top scorer. And the best offer that came afterwards was from Real Betis.

  4. Most importantly, can somebody explain the rating system? They (i) range very narrowly from 5.0 to 8.0 as far as I can tell, and (ii) quite questionable sometimes. And by sometimes I meant everytime you're not netting a brace or a hat-trick (I am a midfielder, cut me some slack.) Do they count crosses that were snatched by the opposing backline as a failed pass, slating them in the same level as those stupid short passes the AI made? If so, holy cow.

Not sure on some but i think to attract big clubs you need to play games and you say you skip games thats not good becuase you wont get the experience i sometimes skip the odd game if i feel fatigue.

I really dont know whats up the the rating i scored my 1st hatrick and got a 6.5 or 7.0 theres a few things that need proper thinking in this mode.

1. There's no such thing as "unique developement".
2.You can "Become A Legend". Stats can go sky-high, but will never go over 95.
3.It' all about the average rating.
4.Rating system...hmm...it's shit.

As for the rating system I think we can safely conclude that it's broken.

I also observed that average rating is not the only thing that matters. It's average rating and playing time. Cheating by skipping matches while your rating is high never works, while playing a lot albeit slightly shittier will land you good offers. But I've been wrong before.

Yeah, that's true... If you keep skipping matches good offers won't come, and the player's development is also compromised.
