Can somebody teach me about this? How to do it correctly? I use this once and the ball is so slow compared to when just normal shooting.

The player places a shot if you hold R2. It slows him right down. Its best used inside the penalty area, not outside. Very good for 1on1's

I thought it can be used to shoot the ball with manual curve, so it should be good to use it to shoot from a distance. Am I wrong?

I wouldn't recommend it, holding the R2 button slows you right down so you wont have any power in your shots.
