If we win this weekend against Osasuna the trophy is ours essentially. That means Barca will have to give us the Guard of Honor...

Guti and Ramos are doubtful and Heinze may be rested so as to avoid another yellow. Ruud will play the last twenty minutes as well, just to have some time on the pitch prior to facing Puyol and Milito in El Clasico.

Casillas
Ramos - Cannavaro - Pepe - M. Torres/Marcelo
Diarra
Gago - Sneijder
Robinho - - - - Robben
Raul

2-1 against Osasuna and the title is ours for the second year in a row. :)

Campeones!

Last year I was there to celebrate the thirtieth, shame I could not be there for this one. 31 La Liga titles now. Spectacular. :boss:

Time for el Pasillo from Barca. Simply pathetic attitude from Eto'o and Deco for weaseling their way out. Xavi, Marquez, Toure, and Ronaldinho are unlikely as well. At this rate we'll be playing a side from their youth ranks.

Hala Madrid!

Xavi, Marquez and, most probably, Toure, are all going. The only ones that will miss it, are Iniesta, Milito (out for the season), Eto'o and Deco.

Eto'o most definitely did it on pourpose, but i'm going to give Deco the benefit of the doubt. He did it in the heat of the moment because Marchena was being a cunt and was in need of a deserved battering. The stadium started to chant Deco's name when he cut Marchena down.

He was also the only one to come out and say that he didn't do it to miss the next match.

Eto'o is simply a coward and a traitor.

I hope they sell that disgrace for a hefty sum. He can go and destroy other locker rooms, the egomaniacal cunt.

Besides, i think you're the ones with the biggest problems. Heinze and Cannavaro are both missing it. Who will mark Messi now? Young Torres? I can't wait to see the outcome of that one.

Marca was posting that those were the most likely to miss due to injury, I'm assuming. Anyways, good news for you all that they'll be there.

Cannavaro has been abysmal this season to a certain extent, Heinze and Pepe have been our best center back pairing. Heinze's card was overturned, so we are just fine. Marcelo or Miguel will take a spot along the back line with Heinze and Pepe in the middle.

I'm not worried about your attack. If Schuster can get his tactics right, we'll dominate you and Pepe will keep Messi and Henry in his back pocket. ;)

We've won the league now it's time for our next victory against los cules.

Get rid of the "this season".

Thanks lads, we deserved the victory although 2 of our goals were controversial but ill take it....

2 or 3 new signings now and 1 or 2 players to leave would be nice.

Players in:
Huntelaar or Villa
Fabregas

Players out:
Salgado (not good enough and too old now)
Saldado (send him out on loan)
Baptista (still cannot warm to him)

And we also have De la Red and Grenaro returning which will only improve the squad.

Cesc will never play for Real Madrid. His father would disown him.

lol...not if he bought him a nice new house out of his signing on fee.
I have learnt to never say never in football and I can really see him coming to Madrid sooner rather than later.

English clubs are constantly doing it, so duh, you already have since snatching Cesc.

Anyways, time for a summer cleaning. I personally, would only like to have three or four players enter the squad, as any more would disrupt the current unity.

Salgado, Soldado, Baptista, Dudek, and Saviola should be shipped out. Cannavaro as well, but that is highly unlikely. I also believe that Drenthe should be loaned out to a La Liga team to gain some experience and confidence, not that he is not confident enough, just that he would get much more time on the ball at another club.

Diarra must stay. I have been a supporter of the guy since the start. Against Barca he convinced many that he was the real deal, so I hope to see him starting in the midfield from this point forward.

There is very little point to speculate who will be bought this summer, so I won't even attempt to make a list of players that are coming or could be coming.

De la Red is the most important to me as he will beef up our midfield plenty. The kid looks so calm and collected on the ball. Brilliant.

madrid is in a good spot now, most position have 2 or 3 covers for it and it is highly competitive

Fullbacks: Heinze, Salgado, Drenthe, Ramos, Torres, Marcelo
Centres : Pepe, Cannavaro, Metzelder, Ramos
CM: Gago, Diarra, Guti
Wings: Robben, Robinho, Sneijder, Balboa, Drenthe?
FWD:Raul, Ruud, Higuain, RObinho, Baptista, Saviola, Soldado

the positions i reckon they could strengthen is probably bring in a squad player for centre mid and probably another CB as i see there is no confidence in Fabio and Metzelder unsurprisingly didnt feature much.

We have a relatively large squad, but some of those players will be departing- for obvious reasons. I hardly consider Salgado a stable choice at right back. Soldado needs to be at a club where they will trust him, same goes for Saviola. Metzelder will be kept another season and if he does not get off the injury list, he'll be sold. On a side note, it still baffles me that we continue to buy these injury prone center backs, but let Milito slip by. Oh well, I suppose that will never be understood.

Drenthe has fell out of favor with Schuster for some reason. I doubt he will be sold though. Dudek must be sold, I do not fully understand why we decided to buy him - yes, yes, yes, the Champions League business, but Casillas is rarely if ever injured and our youth keepers are all very talented.

The point is, that squad will change to make it more competitive and well rounded.
