release players and rehire

Hi,
Today I accidentally discovered that it's way way cheaper to release a player and rehire him then just renew his contract. I mean way cheaper.:shocking:
For example C.RONALDO wanted a $17,000,000 out of $8,000,000 in his contract renewal I just released him (all the other players gave me this:angry: I don't know why) then I rehired him for $4,000,000.
I even checked his overall rating and everything still the same.
Is anyone tried this before?
If yes does it affect anything?

It means signing them again with a new contract. sorry for the confusion.
When you release them their market values drops way down (not sure why) and of course you can sign them without paying a transfer fee because they don't belong to any team :)

Oh, i did that with sowah but not because of his wages because i already had a right back, dani alves. But dani alves went to man u for 25 million so i desperately needed a right back. I found Sowah and bought him however he was always unhappy on a purple arrow and had a frosty relationship with the club from the start and never improved once even though he was 22 and set up all his focus points. So I released him again.
I don't know if this happens to every player you release and buy

I hate the frosty relationship... I made up Ravel Morrison and created players have a glitch where they will have a frosty relationship if they are a free agent... However i let him move to Marseille, brought him from Marseille. He was fine and had half a bar of loyalty and then that just went to zero after the first game... Really annoyed the hell out of me

Nope,
It's all good for me
I released Dudek and re signed him, then played about 3 matches.
He have about half a bar and in a good form. No purples :)

Haha, i did that with Nlant Kalou, a contract rebel. He only had 1/4 of his wanted salery, penned to a 5 year deal .

I think they are in a bad relationship with the club because their wages are too low and son't but their contacts on hold because of some sort of reason - they might be crap
