Make your XBOX360 or PS3 run in 480P instead of an HD resolution....the game is absolutely magnificent.

For PC users try turning the Vsync off...

1- Issues like this get fixed towards the end. its called OPTIMIZATION. Im not going to try to go into details and sound smart bc I dont know much about game development but I do know that much.

2- The game ( when in 480P ) is incredible. It brings back the PES6 feel to me.

This is Konamis fifth installment of current gen PES (and I hesitate to call it current gen) and if they aren't capable of producing a game that both looks and works well in HD they deserve to be beaten into the ground by EA.

As I've said countless times already this last week, Konami are just down right lazy.

BTW in the review code, the response in HD has been fixed. Been confirmed by those who played it.

No, hang on a second, I'm not 'bashing' and I'm entirely on topic, these are HD consoles, every other demo I have downloaded and played (about 30-40) has been absolutely spot on using 1080p, so why should people have to change their settings to play a decent game of PES?

It's a farce. And people like proevofan88 and yourself are the reason Konami don't pull their fingers out and go the extra mile, because with blind fans they don't need to.

I'm not bashing, I'm saying it exactly how it is.

You are 100% right mate about all that you say. I think some people are a bit touchy when it comes to slegging off PES.

This is laziness by Konami. In fact why didnt they give us a more up to date demo or even wait a couple of extra weeks to do so.

It doesnt make sense to release something like they did. They have probably lost even more fans in doing so and sales into the bargain!

But does that make a difference? Current gen consoles have been out long enough now that current gen demos should ALL be playable at 1080p.

Response times in the demo shouldn't be so shit. There's no excuse. If the demo wasn't ready to be released it shouldn't have been released.

I wrote the post back in May, talking about how mo-cap could have an adverse effect on the responsive nature of PES. Fast forward to today, and posts upon posts on the boards have been flooding in stating that response times in PES 2010 have taken a turn for the worse.

Whilst it might be big of me to try and insinuate its mo-cap thats caused this (when its not overall), it is clear PES 2010 has some issues ending new animations quickly and starting others. Then there’s other problems people have with actions happening soon after a button is pressed to pass or shoot. Overall then, a vocal disapproval.

I’ve come out and said that recent code has refined and tweaked this problem, although the difference isn’t night and day. After playing a lot of the PS2 games this weekend its clear its not something we have had to deal with 3/4 years ago. For that reason I want you guys to have your say, and let us know if its a common problem for all, or something many have grown used to and accepted."

I think part of me felt the same before I bought 09 but it was the best gaming decision I ever made, I transformed my three brothers from PES fans to FIFA fans over time and now all four of us get together regularly and play FIFA 09 and can't wait for 10.

I know, but this thread is about a temporary fix. The response issue has been fixed in HD resolutions after the demo, though I agree that they shouldn't have done that in the demo.

And leave pes vs fifa out of this thread. The demo feedback is more appropriate. Also No one can bash online unless they play it. So we should wait for the final release and see.
Also some things on the pes demo aren't seen because of slooowww response I believe.

im playing the demo on a standard definition tv (ps3) and response times are poor to say the least. is there something i can do to get them better or am i to believe they are even worse on an HD set??

I think you have HDMI cable like me because that's the lowest I can do aswell.
It works better than the HD mode. I mean the response is faster. If the response is liek this on HD, I'll be happy.

works a treat cheers, Looks terrible but haha. Ill definitely be playing like this till the game comes out. Gameplay means alot more to me than looks. And will make the full game even better when it plays that well in HD.
