Hi, I have the german Version and the youngest Konami Update. Yesterday i tried to copy the Edit Data onto my PS3 but my console created a new Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 Folder which I can't use in the game. I think that this ist a known problem, does anyone know a solution?

Just one file, the edit file, needs to be copied again. The shirts shouldn't be affected.

Hi Hansi.
Sorry mate... This openfile only works with the PES2010 EU version with serial BLES00688. This number is on the cover (side) of your original game.
If your game does not have this serial, this OF is not useable and copying of the OF creates, as you noticed, a new PES2010 folder on your PS3.
Sorry... Reinstall does not fix the issue. The OF needs an update to be compatible with the installed DLC update.
It is a good practice to NOT download and and install DLC updates from Konami when the OF is not adapted yet for this download. In 99% of all cases, DLC Update messes-up the OptionFile, no matter which OF you use.
Software Updates can be installed with few risk. This is done when you start the game. The PS3 will tell you (if connected to the Internet) that an update is available. These Software Updates normally do not update player or kit information, so the OF will not be ruined and is still compatible.
So, DLC updates mess-up Option Files.
Program or- Software Updates do not mess-up Option Files.

Ah, so this is only DLC and not a patch? Makes sense though. I rarely DL the DLC since I don't want to ruin the OF I have.

All I want for Christmas is Roshs' OF V1.4.
What have you got so far Rosh? Have you started any Championship players? Even if you havent changed too much it would be nice if you could post a v1.35 as I have 9 days off and could make a start to the championship teams/kits/formations etc. I could then post it on here or give it you back and see if you could go from there. or just carry on with your own. I am a bit of a perfectionist, this is y i want to build on your great file.

1)just a few questions is v1.2 the first option file and if its not where can i get the first one.?
2)when i dowloaded the v1.2 and v1.3 update i went in to instructions and it said that u only copy the ps3 folder to the memory stick do i do the same with v1.2
help would be greatly appreciated as im only a novice at copying files from usb to ps3 thanks

Okay guys, I discovered a way to have the latest Konami update without it having to mess with Rosh's Option File.
What you would have to do is start over again. Erase everything from PES2010 in the XMB.
1. Once you have deleted the Game data files, and all of Rosh's OF files (I'm not sure but probably deleting the Edit Data is enough), now pop PES in, make sure you have Internet connection.
2. Download/install 1.3 update that should appear before the game actually loads.
3. Game loads and creates System Data. Go straight to System settings. The last option is Download. Download/install the DLC using this option (it is also labeled 1.3). Take a look at the cool new boots and balls you installed
4. Now go ahead and choose the other "Install" option in the System Settings menu. This will install some optional disc data on the hard drive to improve loading etc. Be sure to do this.
5. Quit the game and in the XMB, start copying Rosh's OF. Copy every file EXCEPT for the System Data file, by doing this you can obtain and keep trophies.
6. Load the game again and it should now detect the Edit Data from the OF for the very first time. The next thing is EXTREMELY important. A prompt will appear, basically asking you if you want to apply the DLC to the Edit Data. You have to choose NO.
7. You're done. You keep your new boots and balls, but the DLC will not mess with the Edit Data, or at least that's what it looks like.
I just need someone to tell me what would be an example of something that would enable you to determine if the OF was messed up in the game because of the DLC.
i just got the game today and just did it exactly the way I described it. When I was done, I realized that all the National Teams still had the correct names so with this I assume that the OF was not messed with in my case.
I would like others to try it out and confirm.
