Rosh's PES 2010 PS3 Option File

Okay guys, I discovered a way to have the latest Konami update without it having to mess with Rosh's Option File.

What you would have to do is start over again. Erase everything from PES2010 in the XMB.

1. Once you have deleted the Game data files, and all of Rosh's OF files (I'm not sure but probably deleting the Edit Data is enough), now pop PES in, make sure you have Internet connection.

2. Download/install 1.3 update that should appear before the game actually loads.

3. Game loads and creates System Data. Go straight to System settings. The last option is Download. Download/install the DLC using this option (it is also labeled 1.3). Take a look at the cool new boots and balls you installed

4. Now go ahead and choose the other "Install" option in the System Settings menu. This will install some optional disc data on the hard drive to improve loading etc. Be sure to do this.

5. Quit the game and in the XMB, start copying Rosh's OF. Copy every file EXCEPT for the System Data file, by doing this you can obtain and keep trophies.

6. Load the game again and it should now detect the Edit Data from the OF for the very first time. The next thing is EXTREMELY important. A prompt will appear, basically asking you if you want to apply the DLC to the Edit Data. You have to choose NO.

7. You're done. You keep your new boots and balls, but the DLC will not mess with the Edit Data, or at least that's what it looks like.

I just need someone to tell me what would be an example of something that would enable you to determine if the OF was messed up in the game because of the DLC.

i just got the game today and just did it exactly the way I described it. When I was done, I realized that all the National Teams still had the correct names so with this I assume that the OF was not messed with in my case.

I would like others to try it out and confirm.

Ok, but I think if I do that I'll lose all classic teams and players. I've spent plenty of time to unlock everything.

The renamed players won't be affected by the DLC. To see if this has not affected the OF you would have to check player registrations - so the German Teams for example, or checking the National team duplicates havent gone back

Ok, but I think if I do that I'll lose all classic teams and players. I've spent plenty of time to unlock everything.

System data file holds unlock info so as long as you dont delete/overwrite that, you should still be ok

The link is dead or is that me?

First DOWNLOAD FULL v1.2 FILE here

http://hotfile.com/dl/20283708/c8ce8f2/Roshs_OF_v1.2_FULL(www.pespatchs.com).zip.html

Then DOWNLOAD v1.2-v1.3 Update

http://hotfile.com/dl/20283866/47c2003/Roshs_OF_v1.3_Update(www.pespatchs.com).zip.html

Copy 1.2 to your flash drive, erase the Edit Data because you're going to use the one from 1.3 instead. Copy the Blus files from the 1.3 Savedata folder to the 1.2 Savedata folder, and you're set to copy the files to your PS3.

Rosh, thank you so much for your work and effort. I imported this game all the way to Costa Rica just to be able to enjoy OF's like yours. Thanks man.

where did you buy your pes?

Online store in Sweden, but apparently I was fooled. I checked again and it's UK alright.

I bought my PES here in Denmark, but it's an import version from the UK (which makes the game cheaper, I guess). No difference at all from the Danish version, which only has a different front/back-cover. I suppose that it's the same thing with Andreas.

Yupp, the code is UK even though it's bought here in Sweden. I should have looked closer, but right now I'm happy it is UK :D

I'v followed these instructions carefully and although all the kits and badges remain updated, there is some problems with the squads. E.g. Bayern Munich's squad consists of only fake players and some of the original PES United default players.

Can anyone help me out??

Working on fixing the issues Konami updates have caused. Will release an update in the next few days.

This sucks - if they release any more updates that completely screw up my file I'm gonna stop bothering. I thought the first patch was to stop this problem

Sorry that it didn't work for you but it did for me and my Bayern Munich has real names.
