Now, I was struggling to come up with a name for this thread, as its not your average kind of goal...

Anyway, the title relates to the strangest thing about this goal...and that's the fact that I actually scored the goal with Messi before saving it, and yet the loaded up replay shows it as Eto'o scoring. And I'm not dreaming things either, as it actually lists Messi as the scorer on the replay file.

Haha, funny Paul. Anyway, is a good goal, because always when you do that movement, for example with Eto´o, the referee whistle infraction.

Nope...scored, saved and loaded on the PS2 (unpatched). It's strange because even if you make changes in edit mode (which I hadn't) they dont' affect what is shown in a replay...everything should be as it was.

I'm surprised then. If it had been on the PC i would have understood, but unpatched on the PS2:shocking: , that's got me confused now.:erm:

I believe that stadia, balls and kits do change in the replays. I'm not sure about player appearances though, but i think boots also change.

Anyway, you're either pulling our legs or that is the strangest glitch i have ever heard of or seen.

Is it possible that you scored with Eto'o but that somehow it registered the name Messi?
