Anyone seen this?

From these new/changed controls I can conclude that
- the penalties have been enhanced
- CURSOR MAY HAVE BEEN FIXED - happy if it's really fixed because it's one of the worst isssues on pes 11
- Some defence system which seems important as it is linked in these new controls - maybe it's better executed than in 11.
- Some attacking controls too
- AND LOTS OF FEINTS and stuff - maybe their executed better this time.
I don't know what to make of this, but the fact that they have changed the controls shows you that this pes may have changed for the better afterall. I am hoping.

maybe football games could benefit from sharing the licenses and alternating between years. So PES one year FIFA the next, so there is a game each year and they get some time to develop and test.

Key questions:
-Does ''fully manual'' passing still take into account player stats?
-The off the ball movement, how is that going to work in a two player game? You use the right stick to move your player into position, meanwhile the opposition player will obviously have a defender follow your player to mark him, so you'll have to move your player again.....then Player 2 marks you again, so to get space you will have to keep moving your attacker around with the right stick......and aim the cross with the left stick......and power up the cross with a button press.....seems like an awful lot of multitasking going on there no?

-They need to sort out shooting, cos the shooting in pes 2011 is arse.

^There are 5 manual passing level if I read correctly, so maybe at 3 or 2 or 4 (depending if 5 is fully manual or automatic) will be semi assisted which means that you will make the pass, BUT IT DEPENDS ON THE PLAYERS SKILL to place it right.
Also the defensive AI is pes 11 is not bad though, yes there are still those retarded moments, but overall, they do a much better job than in 10 and sometimes you feel like you've achieved something when you pull off a successful jockey and a perfect timed tackle. I agree on the shooting, not because it's bad, but it's way too unpredictable and the defence pushing is overpowered as the shooting goes all over the place. This needs sorting and it needs MORE USER INPUT.
Anyway, only time will tell, but overall, it's sounding positive, but again, I am not getting my hopes up. I will wait and see more videos and the demo.

I dont bother with the manual passing in pes 2011, mainly because I dont bother with PES 2011 full stop, but the ''manual passing'' in that game, is it stats driven? or like's fifa's manual?

Okay, that would never happen, there is competition to be the best football game, they don't make the games just to please people. These games are made purely for revenue, all they care about is selling the game. What you're saying would never work as EA would never run the risk of giving the main advantage it has over to it's rivals. They both want to be better than the other and make more money than the other. At the moment fifa is winning because of the brainwashed children getting excited over glossy emblems and kits. Also, fifa fans would go crazy if the only football game released that year was PES, and vice versa for PES fans if we had to play fifa.. :l

doesn't really show much just a lot of talk about how great the game is but those are still just words.
will we be seeing an ingame video at E3 or not, cause that's what i am waiting for at the moment.

Don't hold your breath, animations are still far behind fifa according to a tweet I saw, which is more in line with what gameplay we have seen so far.
Speaking of fifa, i need to check out what the fuck they are actually doing, I haven't paid much attention to them since fifa 10 to be honest, mainly because it seems they are continuing the ignore the core flaws in their game. Have they even said anything about improving individuality or pro passing????

I read a bit a few weeks ago on improved passing with their new AI vision system. Sound familar to PES?
Both Konami and EA talking about how this version is the one that revolutionizes - they should be saying that to sell copies, can't blame them. But in the end FIFA fans won't be happy, PES fans won't be happy and everything will be normal in the world once again.
Has there every been a video game that people really like? I can have a lot of fun playing a game but then start to read the negatives and begin to agree and it spoils that fun.
I did like the one clip on the initial PES 2012 video that showed how AI defenders were marking players (shown as connecting arrows) but a defender would slip off his man to play the ball but return to his marked player once the ball moved away (all the while the connecting arrow stayed connected to his mark). Seems like good AI tech.

even if the wenb peeps usually are filthy liars, i still got a feeling that pes 2012 finally will be worth buying this year since stuff like AI has been very much improved (or so they say) which is very important for a good game of football, something ea hasnt bothered to think about..
And the responsiveness has been tweaked, a tad more animations and smoother ones too cuz of better linking between them..

It's hardly the same, yes they are both pes sites, but WENB tend to give a more biased approach to things. And no one is hating on WENB so i don't see your problem. Also, sort your grammar out please, it's painful to look at and understand.
