Sounds like it could be great news, Sony have the financial clout to churn out a decent football game. I think PES2012 has been generally so poorly received Seabass has smelt the coffee.

If only PES were being sold to 2k, that would be epic

Well I can't read Japanese, so obivously I can't say if it's correct or not, but Seabass has looked tired lately, reminds me of Wenger. He has done great things for the PES series but maybe its time to move on? Give a fresh new start for the series

That would be stupid for Konami to sell the rights to Sony, they'd lose alot of their sales from the 360 and Nintendo consoles.

I'm sure Sony will sub it to the right software house if they buy it. It does beg the question though if it bombs again - as PES2012 seems to be - under Sony will they scrap the title completely or change the format?

Konami will not miss out, Sony would *potentially* but then if PES does well it will drive further PS3 sales. So on the other hand It makes good business sense.

But all Sony owned games are only available on PS3/PSP etc it will just go the way of This Is Football.

This story is about the party i described last year. Some guys got so drunk at a PES party and overslept that is why the DLC for the world cup was delayed. This article describes SeabASS bad management.

Being sold to sony would mean LESS MONEY from the 360 and nintendo players.

I don't think so.

As for pes 12. It's not as bad as some are saying, but it has some really annoying negatives like the speed issue, close control being too close and not enough difference between players and Goal keepers. But overall, it's not bad at all. It does have some very good moments.

It is happening again
PES was sooooooooo much better when it was exclusive to the PS3.

Either way, it's time for Seabass to go. Goodbye and thanks for all the fish!

BELIEVE
I could have sworn I've seen old used game boxes over the years for PES on the original Xbox.

:hmm:
