I'm not sure if it's because I play with manual controls, but I find shooting, just like last year is much too powerful. Every shot (without R2) is like a bullet, which is so unrealistic, and if aimed even semi-accurately manually will go in from certain angles.
To add to this volleys are way too easy, you barely even need to time them, even players without good stats will pull off crazy accurate volleys with the ball at any height it seems, regardless of how awkward, and this will inevitably rocket dead straight at goal.
Shooting is a big part of football games obviously and I find this still a huge let down from last year, I just don't find it satisfying scoring at all when I know 100% that a shot will go in. Not to mention the goalies are horrible on the demo.
Another point is skills are still absolutely dreadful and have no flow to them whatsoever, so robotic! I think this is one Area PES could learn a lot from the skills of Fifa, and how fluid they are.
I'm not here to slam the demo as I happen to really like the passing and speed of the game, still much more than Fifa. I just hope Konami doesn't get into the Fifa habit of adding new pointless things rather than fixing the old stuff every year.
