There was a satisfying weight to PES10's shooting. It all just feels too floaty like it's a cheap football in the demo.

Not all the time. Many of the shots I took traveled at blistering pace. Just doesn't happen nearly as often as last year which is good imo. In 2010 just about every shot explodes off the foot. Players don't hit it clean like that every time in reality.

All of your shots are from inside the box, not an outsider. Also it seems to me that you are playing with default 0 game speed right?
If so, try -1 and see how shooting changes from bad to worse. Lots of people play under -1 because it has more realistic game play and build up.

I think they have made the shooting to realistic this time. Yes it plays like real football but its a game! gotta have some sort of enjoyment. Smashing shots in was one of them. Ball is waaaay to floaty.

I thought you mentioned that your shots float when you're inside the box?
As for outside the box. I think you haven't been reading my posts. I can score from outside.
Actually I scored much more goals from outside rather than inside the box.
And at -1.
Actually the shooting improves because the power bar rises slower.
I play at -1 most of the time BTW especially when playing with Barcelona.
You're making it looks worse than it is actually.
I already stated that in certain situations it needs fixing but some of you are making it look worse than it really is.

The thing I would really like pes to have is CONTROL OVER THE SHOTS.
I mean I want a slower rising power bar and much more control over the shot while still keeping individuality.

The button delay in 2010 was sufficiant enough to warrent the shooting redundant.

It was good in 2010 but I feel 2011 just has an edge on it. The great goals of 2011 feel better than 2010's equivilant.

The ball physics are getting worse each year though. Its like the have completely forgotten that pes' best feature used to be the ball physics

Yes i was playing on defualt 0 and actually the messi goal was from outside. Besides, that was just a few from the current match i was playing when i read this thread. I have scored quite a few from outside of the box, especially with xavi. The video was just to show that it takes time to get used to and that R1 does really help.
