... the series of course not just the first one.

Does nobody on here play any of these atall? If not, then cancer on you all for Christmas.

I played Civ IV quite a lot but Civ V seemed to be a step back from Civ IV and after initially playing it for a good while, I realised it was nowhere near as good and stopped.

3 is deffo my favourite. Got the balance between having enough features and not being too complicated just right. If anyone still plays this, message me.

EDIT - Can't believe the lack of interest in this thread. These games are fucking epic, bra!

Yeah I love the Civilization series. My addiction started with Civ IV which is in my opinion one of the greatest game ever made. I even skipped work a few times because of my quest to rule the world ;) Then came Civ V! Unfinished and rushed out on the marked just like every new game out there, damn I really hate these liberal money monkeys that seem to rule in every corp out there but anyways now seven months have passed and Civ V has got 5 big patches to fix bugs and balance the game and finally I can play it, now it´s a real joy to play but it´s still overly simplified for my taste compared to Civ IV. Civ V still needs more features to make it more complicated. Health, random events and Espionage along with a few more.
It will be very interesting to see what features they will come up with in the first expansion for Civ V witch will hopefully come out this year.

I haven't played Civ 5 yet, and might not bother because everyone seems to say it's crap. 3 is still possibly my favourite video game at the moment, can't get off it. Shame there isn't enough people on here into it to organise a game.
