I play as nottingham forrest and ive finished in the top 5 the past 2 seasons and won the uefa cup last season, so i have a good team. However, the only players that i have been able to buy so far are players under the "scout recommendations." How hard is it to try and buy a player that is not recommended by your scout?

I haven't used scout recommandations yet, having played 4 seasons. I just search and when i see an interesting player i make an offer after receiving the scout report. When you're in the first seasons having a lower scout level, i would recommend to buy younger players..

Id recomend if you havent already upgrading your scout to a level 5 in August.You get players a lot cheaper,can negotiate with upto 5 players and reports come through in 2 weeks.The only players i have trouble with now are ones that are happy at thier club with long contracts.Its bide your time time!If you constantly hassle them they do start to become unsettled,which is what im doing to Courcouf at the mo (excuse spelling!)
