Slow loading times on Xbox after update!

This needs serious fixing and should be a priority in the next update. After the current update, EVERY match takes around a minute to load each time, whether that be offline or online. Dreadful and really beyond tedious.

The menu's mostly load slowly aswell, about 5 - 10 secs, and alot of the time the cursor freezes for a couple of seconds in them.

Stats for players load slowly as well and is really irritating.

In edit mode, when editing a player it doesn't even read your selection properly in creating or editing a player. You have to keep tapping the button a good few times before it reads your input.

In general, anything that needs to be loaded takes far too long to do it. All of it is unacceptable, as it happens all the time. Its rare a menu will load straight away or a players stats. Matches never load quickly.

The loading times need to be the number ONE priority in the next update. The game is just a massive chore to navigate otherwise.

The only good thing is the matches are fine when you eventually start them.

Also, you can't enter your gameplan at half time of extra time in any game mode.

I have actually fixed this problem. The loading times are back to normal. In case anyone has had this problem I will explain how I fixed it.

I removed the OF I had and data pack 2 and reinstalled the data pack. I also removed system data and edit data before reinstallation, just to make sure. I haven't reinstalled the OF.

The OF was already installed before dp2 and had been created based on dp 1. It's likely that the OF is not really compatible with dp2 and this caused problems in the installation when installed with the OF already there, because when I just removed the OF itself first, the problems were still there. You actually need to remove dp2 also and reinstall it. But, I've also read people having problems with just the datapack anyway, and reinstalling it corrected them.

Anyway, this may be of help to someone.

EDIT: The problem was most likely the OF, not the datapack.

Hi, Just a question.

Do you now play the game without any option file, i.e. without all the team names and kits?

I am having the same problem with unbearable loading times, and I have an option file installed.

No, I use an option file. This one works perfect and is for dp2: http://www.pesgaming.com/showthread.php?t=94534

Just go to your Pes 2014 folder in the hard disk storage on your xbox and delete the OF you have, dp2 and system and edit data. Then re-download dp2 from the game. Finally, install a dp2 compatible OF such as I've linked above and everything should be fine.

You will have to redo your personal settings again and any saved formations. I don't know what other created data like players or teams you may have created that you might lose, so I won't be taking any responsibility for it if you do.

I'm having this issue, and I have no option files other than the Konami updates.

The only thing I can suggest is to delete all the datapacks from your Xbox storage. You should delete your edit data and system data too, which is also in storage. If you have any edited teams you may want to export them first and restore them later. Then, redownload the datapacks again from within the game. They should all download one after another and install for you without having to do anything else. It may take awhile. A clean install should probably fix it, at least I think it should. Your choice. You'll have to redo your personal settings again after this, not a big deal.

Thanks. The thing is though, I did the datapacks as a "clean" install to a brand new game only two weeks ago - it ran through them automatically. I hadn't edited anything, and the game was running fine before the downloads.

I've done a bit of editing since though, so I might just live with it like that rather than start it again.
