Guys, Dido SMoKE Patch will be out in approx. two days. Just wait, if it's anything like last year's patch then it'll be the most complete PES 2010 Patch. Besides, it doesn't have all these issues that came with update 1.3.
guess we need to wait then.

This patch is a main factor of sluggish and unresponsive players.
It also provoke game crashes, I thought it was the kitserver that caused it, but I am now using the exact same kitserver, with sammyK's OF and the game is much much better in every way except visual ofcourse.
When I say I use the exact same kitserver, I mean that I completely removed all the graphics addons and GDB folders from it, but still have the kitserver attached to the exe files so I can modify LOD, gamespeed and match time etc.
To my surprise the players was very responsive and the gameplay much nicer without this patch installed, and the crashes are all gone too. So I believe this patch need a complete overhaul to be a contender in the future.
I would like to add that I am, and have been for a long time, a huge fan of the SM patch and it is by far the most visually enhancing patch for PES on the web that I know of. Much respect to the creator and many many thanks for the huge job done to improve visuals within the game. If the above mentioned issues are sorted out I will immediately start using this patch again, without a doubt.

That Patch is great. I have used it for PES 2009 too!
Where can I find that 'Smoke Patch'?
I see it nowhere.

For those you want to use this patch with v1.03 of the game you can do the following:
--Find and install the latest kitserver (9.2.4 I think) to ensure it will be compatible with v1.03 of the game.
--Compare the kitserver folder of the SMPatch with the folder of the kitserver you just downloaded and copy, from the first to the second, everything that is missing, plus the GDB folder. Overwrite when asked to.
--Then take the option file from a v1.03 compatible mod (I used sammy's) and copy it in your "save" folder.
Essentially you will be porting the SMPatch files to a new version of the kitserver and using a different option file.
This way you will have the player stats from the second mod, but the stadiums, chants, uniforms, scoreboards... from the SM Patch.
You do this at your own risk. The procedure has only been tested once on my computer. If you were using the SMPatch option file before, you might see "dummy" players in your save games or other problems.

The patch should be out very very soon. SMoKE found a crash in ML and he's fixing it.

- waiting for all patch testers reports"
My guess is that it'll be out before Friday.

well I dont know for sure, but if it's anything like his 2009 patch then it will include it's own update which forces you to upgrade or downgrade to version 1.2 (2009), I think this clear much of the confusion over updating the game and worrying if it works with the patch or not.
Hopefully it'll be good, I just want a patch that's correct and doesnt crash. I play on low quality so graphics aren't that big of a deal to me but i'm not gonna be selfish, hopefully the graphics are good too lol

i installed the patch and i put the saves in the konami folder in the document
but when i lunch the game , i found this message
what is the problem and what is the solution ???
all the names and the teams are not correctly because the option file does not work correctly

I really love this patch. Thank you so much for your hard work and time. Please be so kind and reupload it. I didnt manage to get the newest version. Thanks a lot once again.
