I can help a bit with this. I was looking in to all the unlicensed stadiums and trying to find out what they were based on and meant to be, if applicable. I thought I'd post rather than PM as there's room for discussion with some of them. Hopefully someone else can list the licensed ones for you, or maybe I'll get that done sometime soon.

So here we go, unlicensed stadiums, in the order they appear in stadium select. Forgive me if names are inaccurate, my notes are scribbled (Team names in brackets)

Bristol Mary - a debatable one. Lots of people think it's meant to be the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen (Schalke) but I disagree.

Rose Park - again debatable, but many say Villa Park (Aston Villa)

Royal London - dunno. SMoKE patch says Emirates (Arsenal) but I strongly disagree.

Estadio Del Nuevo Triunfo - Estadi Cornellà-El Prat (Espanyol)

Sagittaire - Stade de Gerland (Lyon)

Orione - Stadio Angelo Massimino (Catania)

Burg Stadion - BayAerna (Leverkusen)

Ville Marie - Azteca (Mexico national)

Escorpiao - Maracana (Brazil national)

Amazonas - dunno. Some people say it's Estadio de los Defensores del Chaco (Paraguay national) but it looks nothing like it.

Palenque - Toyota Stadium (Nagoya Grampus)

Mohamed Lewis Stadium - Stade Mohamed V (Morocco national)

Konami Stadium - hideously over sized fake that Konami programme in for far too many teams!

This is by no means perfect, but doesn't look too bad, I created a PNG for the roof of the rear stand, but instead of just saying Rangers FC in the middle it repeats all the way along so I removed it.

Excellent Paul I was hoping someone would do the Spanish ones. You missed some though. I think what you have there was the original list but more were added in a patch on release day I believe.

Also, just to be thorough, "Il Nuovo Stadio Della Juventus" translates as "The new stadium of Juventus." It's actual name is Juventus Arena. You can edit the name into your game in Stadium edit.

thats the index now up to date with all the In game stadiums and the Ibrox posted above.

I have not as yet put the unlicensed stadiums in game, and remain wary of doing so, as some are debateable, but I'm more so in favour of doing it than not, if someone could post what they think i should do:

Include Unlicensed stadiums with their most Likeness' as postged by JohnSound or not? thanks



FT9 has a list of some stadiums on his List to do, I cant remember them all, but I know Cardiff City Stadium and the Gillette Stadium (New England Revolution) are on it

As for the unlicensed ones, maybe just asterix them and explain why. I'd probably leave out the really debatable ones though.

I think the black bars are hard to do, because they will look terrible in some perspectives. but if you can live with the huge yellow bars:
check this out - created it just two weeks ago :)

You will not see the letters, they will disappear behind the stands (use stand type 6) :)
I always make my backgrounds this way, so I can handle them easily on my ps3.
