i'm gutted that there'll be no Anfield on the PC version, that is utter shite. It's just been voted as the best atmosphere in world football (no surprise to me) and it should definitely be in there.

Was hoping it would have Wembely but then again Konami probably dont even realise the old one was knocked down. Its also annoying how they keep putting in all these crap stadiums that no one really care about...

Does this mean that theres no Old Trafford???

I was pretty gutted that theres no Wembley but I will be truly devistated if there is no O.T.

One of the biggest and best stadiums in the world not on the game?? Its been on every game apart from one of the ISS' if im not mistaken.

Can anyone confirm the Stadium list for PS3?

Thanks

Didn't feature in the very first PES I seem to remember. Think it was in ISSPE2 though, many moons ago.

I wondered how long it would be before Konami introduced a fictional stadium, imaginatively titled "Konami Stadium". It's also weird how the Italian stadiums don't make it on to the PS2 version, yet there are two on the PS3/360/PC versions. Apart from that the PS2 list is the same as PES6. I just wonder how reliable this information is (Wikipedia isnt renowned for it's accuracy). The stadiums on the next-gen versions look pretty awesome it has to be said.

what i don't understand is why a game, which is going to be huge in Europe, always has more stadia from Japan than any other country, yeh i know Konami are based in Japan, but that's not really a good reason. Who, in Europe, really gives a shit if the Sapporo dome is in the game? Or the fucking Oita stadium?

I can't believe they've got two South American stadia and an African stadium but no English, when the Premier League is the number one league on the game.

Why is this a problem for Konami?

Doesn't FIFA have more or less every teams stadium?

I know the licensing is an issue, but why not just call Old Trafford the Trad-Brick Stadium or whatever it used to be called in the previous versions.

15 stadiums is a disgrace, I used to look forward to playing at Anfield, Stamford Bridge, St. James Park etc.. in my Master League, now ill be playing Liverpool at the Nou Camp in a Premiership Game.

Fuck off Konami, lazy cunts.

Those "lazy cunts" are the reason we have decent football gaming.

Well if they wasn't so lazy we would have an even better football game, more than just "decent"

IMO appearance/presentation is just as important as gameplay. I know some people might disagree but whatever, everyones opinions are different.

according to wikipedia the stadiums have been announced there is more on the ps2 version than the ps3 and x-box version, and the only english stadiums on there are st james park and anfield which are only on the ps2 version. here is the link

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PES_2008#Stadiums

If you look at the link, you can see that none of the licensed stadiums from PES6 are named there, they are all 'unlicensed' i.e. with fake names. Also missing from that list are stadiums from Madrid and Milan, etc. I wouldn't have thought they'd just drop them.

So before we start calling 'Nokami' lazy, let's just wait and see first. The only english one I would expect to lose is Highbury :(
