Not that exciting.

Anyone heard much about this? Quiet liked the first two myself so a third one on Next Gen would be welcomed by me. On-line could be pretty fun.

Surprised there's footage of it already. I thought it would be ages before we hear of any news since Free Radical were making it and then it was moved on to Rebellion.

I also enjoyed the first two, but there's only so much enjoyment you can get out of a battle solely with AI. Online should be great if done correctly.

Yeah I cant see it being exclusive to microsoft as star wars is a cash cow nowadays.....95% sure it'll be for every single platform out there

If so, I cant wait. Battlefront 2 was one of my favourite games.

They look like really well developed character models.....


Looks almost like Oblivion style graphics....Will be great to see them running around the field

That Han Solo looks nothing like Harrison Ford. McDiarmid looks great however. Lets hope they give him his two-handed thrust fighting style.

Erm, does everyone on this thread actually know that the original developers, Free Radical, are now dead because of the credit crunch, and the game is in development oblivion?

Whosoever takles up the reign of development, rumoured to be either Pandemic or Rebellion Studios (Battlefront 1 and 2, and Battlefront: Renegade Squadron devs respectively) will probably have to start from scratch and may well abandon the dark obi wan stuff =[

I know they made the first two, but maybe their standards have slipped; either that or they just don't give two shits about Lord of the Rings.

Don't get me wrong Conquest is a great laugh as well, its just not the game it could and should have been.

The only reason you are of that opinion is because of your enormous fagatronic stance when it comes LotR. You wanted greatness, but got a good game. TYou wouldn't have judged it so harshly if it wasn't a LotR game, but then again, you probably wouldn't have bought it.

Exactly. But to be honest its simple flaws like the multiplayer not having additional bots (whereas the main game has loads, adds to the epicness) and the fucking overpowered mages, which almost every cunt online plays as. Anyone who plays as a mage or a scout is a coward and only interested in the points.
